Perfect video to help my unfaltering noobitude. My used B6 was behaving oddly slowly, batteries read fine, we were troubleshooting at the track, and this helps very much. I had not yet researched what the ESC actually does and I had no idea about DRRS type settings. #AJCSpeedwayrules. #CadeisPro.

So i'm checking out a novice class at the hobbyplex this Sat which has very loose rules to enter but past that if I like it and want more class specific races, your channel covers a lot of good info so I wanted to say thanks. Got a sub from me.

I have my 7 or so year old Slash 4x4 brushless and I have yet to maintain the motor other than open it up and check whatsup on the inside (after 7 years of owning the car) I started modifying it to be a bit more aggressive and durable I replaced the 7 year old nearly seized bearings and it runs perfectly fine I love it

I just got a team associated roller. I'm trying to figure out what motor and esc to get for racing, I'm thinking 17.5. Any suggestions?

There are a few out there that work pretty well. I'd say Hobbywing would be the safest option but be sure to check out your local scene and see what others are running

@RoachRC Thank you, what about batteries, what size and brand? I know they use 2s but any other numbers to look for?

I'd recommend either Gens ace or protek 2s shorty batteries. However any battery you get must be a 2s "shorty" pack, no stick packs. Also try to get something with more than 4800 mah as that will give you plenty of weight and runtime

@RoachRC Thanks, I'm planning to buy a hobbywing esc, I'm looking at a gs3 or a xr10 pro, is there a reason to get an elite? I'm gonna run a 17.5, I think hobbywing motor also thanks
