RC Model Balloons meet target task
Target practice at the Llangollen model balloon meet 2015 held inside the fantastic pavilion building. This contest took place immediately after the lunch break, so it's a bit of a slow start. Then the pace picks up as the pilots start to get there eye in on the target.
The unique environment inside the Pavilion provides the UK, Model ballooning community the chance to fly regardless of the weather outside. Gentle breezes flow within the building as the balloons drift towards the target, pilots use the breeze and their skill to find the way to the centre of the cross.

So awesome, I want one. :) How to maneuver horizontally indoors/no side wind?

We can only adjust the height of the balloon, here you can see 2 things happening, a little assistance with a push, and the pilots finding the breeze around the building and using it at different height to drift in to the target (kind of like the big balloons do)

They are made from ripstop nylon. The same materials used in the bigger man carrying balloons
