Back Garden Balloon Fiesta (LOCKDOWN SPECIAL)

We might be in Lockdown, and hot air ballooning not practical outside your own back garden or yard, the weather in my corner of the UK has been prefect for ballooning - So I rolled part of my fleet of model balloons and inflated 5 of them just for YOU.

    Now all you need is a multi-arm structure with a seat in the centre, and you'll have your very own one person balloon rally, you can fly! Pretty sure just 4 of them would lift you. Thanks for the video. :)

    That would be cool, Like some kind of balloon Drone, sitting in the middle with a lawn chair Legendary adventure coming up :-)

    Fantastic, I started making balloons at about that age, melted a few that were too small to lift the fabric (never mind a basket) or were just odd shapes, how many have you built? 20ft tall sounds awesome 👌

    I used plastic first then I used parachute nylon # rip stop nylon and when I built it i did not cut out tiny patterns just Severn big templates

    So this is a combination of a gopro (low in the grass) my Mobile phone, and a lumix FZ1000 dslr on a fixed tripod. That pretty much covers the majority of my film work over the last 5 years, combining those 4 technologies in a variety of ways

    You will need a non porous material so the air can't pass through. Plastics film is one idea or in this case nylon with special coatings
