The RGT Rock Cruiser is one of the best budgets in the market! Purchased new in 2018, this RTR (ready to run) truck was only $159 plus shipping! That even included a battery! Sure, it shared the chassis and all internal parts with the ECX and FTX brands, but it's a great entry for someone that is just getting into the hobby without spending an arm and a leg.
Given the recent inflation and growing popularity in the hobby, you still might be able to find a few of these for less than $200 (at the time of this video), which is still a deal for a fully capable RC crawler. Granted, the truck in this video received some recent upgrades, but many of the original parts, such as the chassis, motor, transmission, and suspension still remain.
