    Please please make a clear tutorial about the steeing link fix, I have a brand new pro brushed version and the link is dislocated very easily on both sides. It is very annoying and I think this is an issue in this car. Thanks

    By the way, the shocks in the video are 80mm long, oem ones are 70mm, can use 70, 74 or 80, this ones i tried and work. I prefer the 80mm ones seems to keep the ride a bit higher and has more tension.

    great video but the longer shocks in my case stop the steering from returning properly.Used 1/14 wltoys shocks but removed them after my experience.Also the driveshafts are in too much of an angle and seems to strain the suspension.Think shorter shocks for me is the way to go

    @@kuganreddy6921 i dont have any issue like that. In my case when the car is performing the ride height stays just a tad higher, but in the front a shorter one like 0.5cm shorter would works the best, i say 74mm-80mm rear, 74-70mm front, but its preference, works with all three at least in my case, i have metal steering links, not sure if that makes a diference. Thanks for your comment, so wich one did you put in yours? Thanks for watching.

    @@kuganreddy6921 you can also shorten the shocks but puting like a clear tubing used in gardening, you open the shock and insert the tubing(the length of the tubing will determine the lenght of the sock shaft) in the shaft from the inside so it limits the travel of the shoxk , and test it till the height is at your liking, this way you can still use this shock you already have its very simple to do, did you got how its done? I hope this helps if you have any doubt answer back i will explain it better or make a video about this.

    Hello, Really nice, well detailed and informative vid you posted, Congrats and thank you. I have bought myself the same exact care with most of the upgrade parts. Only issue that I have is connecting the heat sink fan to some power. The fan has 2 pin plug and the extension you provided is with 3. Can you provide a small vid or picture of the part you ordered for the heat sink fan in order to connect it, an url for the part? Thank you in advance!

    I have a question. For protection on certain spots like the top and down of the underside car. Is it good to use tin from cans? It is good to fold. And should l use glue or screws to fix it on the bottum?

  • @Fast_Lane_RC

    @Fast_Lane_RC

    2 ай бұрын

    Hello my felloew subscriber thanks for the question, the tin seems a good ideia, but you can also use some kind of thick plastic, and yes you have to put screws to hold it in place glue i suppose it ends to degrade fast. Hope i could help, thanks for watching.

    Is there a way to swap out the front, center, back drive shafts, spur gears, drive pinions, differentials for something maybe more universal and easier to replace?

  • @Fast_Lane_RC

    @Fast_Lane_RC

    11 күн бұрын

    Hello my fellow subscriber, there is nothing universal the pitch amd or mod has to be the same between gears, in sg116max its used mod 0.6 on spur and pinion the other gears should be the same. Its not hard to find .6 mod gears for cheap you dont have to buy feom the rc car sellers, just have to buy the same mod and teeth count. To change for other pinion you have to adjust the motor mount and this rc doesnt have a changeable motor mount, lots of rc dont. Hipe i help you and answered your question. Thanks for watching and dont be a stranger.

    @bennolindeboom8117 Helllo my friend, so your problem is on the steering, the solution is to buy metal links, but until it arrives i have a solution for you. I have explain in it in a video already, but basically you use the link that is connected to the servo arm, you cut it in half, put a screw through one part and then you cut the screw head so you can thread o the other half. The steering link you glue it like you normally do cause in the servo it doesnt break cause it uses less force. Do you understand the process? Link for the metal links i use: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EJSgxzD The important part is when you install them try to make em the same size has the original put em side by side. This os the video explaining it, at 6:30 aproximately i talk about that repair, go check it out, kzread.info/dash/bejne/pIuDo8unf5DgltI.htmlsi=vNg7ZMTeXDAM9tbV
