I was about to order a Maxx online..

I wish RC was as big/popular up here in New England area. There’s only a couple of small hobby shops and one race track fairly close to me. The track is honestly a joke and the closest one that I know of that is good is about 2 1/2 hours away.

Killer deal on the X Maxx. I haven't ever bought a new Axial for myself. I BUILT "King Midas 6x6" from scratch and it's based on Axial....because I wanted the best of everything(at the time). Don't think I'd every by one of those 2-wheel drive Monster Truck(Traxxas 2x4 Stampied)for anyone.....its never the same as a true 4x4.

Hi Mark, I recently bought a nitro rc for 50 buck. Came with a radio and receiver. No body servos need replaced and motor is seized. I haven’t been able to identify the brand or model. Was wondering if it would be worth converting it to electric or just calling it a loss.

No rc is a loss unless you let it , if possible would be better to buy some cheap servos and a cheap engine and bash the thing and enjoy it 💪🏽🏁

Do you personally know the people that had the nitro stampede and Cen GST that was next to the t-maxx’s at 3:21? I’d kill for both of those trucks. I also live in north tx.

Sucks u missed that xmaxx deal. Heard u mention gettin back in the nitro... Ive got a 3.3 revo im thinkin of sellin. May have 10 or 15 tanks tops on the engine. Fwd only conversion.

@@enz0368 on the swap meets we get a few a year nothing crazy. But in dfw there is rc shops all around an hr radius prolly 10 of them.

It's the old way that receiver communicated with transmitter. It was a small piece called a crystal that you could change between receiver and transmitters. One crystal would go in receiver and one in transmitter

I don't understand the "hate" about a t-maxx. Am I the only one that thinks that its the best Nitro basher you can buy new still? I wouldn't mind seeing some t-maxx videos

I had the 2.5 grey head one. The diffs were horrible back then. Seemed like every weekend I was replacing bulkheads and at least one diff in the thing. The savage at the time held up way better for me.

@@olds97lss see I had the 2.5, 3.3 short and 3.3 long chassis one. And honestly I’m not sure I’ve ever had to replace or rebuild diffs. Now yes I did break the bulkheads all the time on the short chassis. But that issue went away when I swapped them to aluminum. Then that problem went away and almost never broke a control arm. But the the Savage XL came out and that change the entire bashing game and never broke that truck. I did just buy a XL to have the king of the basher MT back and love it. But it’s hard to say what other Nitro Monster Truck can compare with a t Maxx when it comes to bashing

There’s so much cool stuff in that hobby shop and we get the camera pointed at every traxxas lineup that’s been released for years. 🤦‍♂️

Ya know, I learned yesterday why people waste the money to get a traxxas when you can just buy an associated or other higher end kit... I saw a kid slam his rustler into a curb like 3 times at full speed and with 0 damage. Those little mini 4wd can be used a small tamaya mini4wd rc setup and be fully rc. Theyre also really fun as is.
