Coming soon exclusively to the RallySimFans plugin - Mister Arek's love letter to the RBR community and its amazing developers and modders over the last 20 years. I was lucky enough to test this powerful tool and thought I would showcase what a relative amateur can do with the plugin using a single replay. Needless to say it does not come close to the quality of someone like Arek's abilities - but the tools let us get pretty close!

"Directors Cut is a camera modification tool that allows you to manipulate the vanilla cameras to create literally any scene you can imagine. Despite it's advanced capabilities, which are more made for content creators, it also offers some features for the normal driver, which are:
- Completely redesigned Freecam tool with many new features
- Auto-generated stage cams for BTB replays
- Ready to use cameras like the Real Chase Cam, Helmet or Onboard Cam"
OBS Studio was used to record the clips in-game
Davinci Resolve 15 was used to splice the clips, add transitions, music and also upscale the footage

Impressive! Did you record a bunch of shots to make an edit in a video editing program, or is the camera switching happening in realtime?

Hey Ben- Thanks for the comment! I recorded a bunch of clips in-game with OBS and then spliced it all together in Davinci Resolve - both free. I will add this info to the description for others !
Is this a replay tool? My question is if it is possible to change the viewpoint during the race.

Yes - replay tool only, with freecam functionality available during race. You will have to continue to use pacenote plugin's camera editor and the existing chase cam during race. Keep in mind this is a simulator - fancy chase cams are not designed for live racing for multiple reasons.

😂Yep, the driving is very crude at times, in fact this is from one of my first ever runs in the GT-Four lul
