Here are the basic things you need to do to your RB25 (or any RB for that matter!) crankshaft while it's out of your engine for a rebuild.
Now before anyone says it - YES there is certainly more than can be done (such as the more secure sine drive collar, or a full rotating assembly balance) but this is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM you should be doing to address the biggest weak point of the RB engine - oil pump failure.
This is what we had the time and budget to get done in order to get up and running again - if I do end up building a high powered RB30 I will be going all out when it comes to the crank!
Definitely getting excited to be getting closer to having my engine back together!
