Razors Shift with Oysi Frames - FIRST IMPRESSIONS

My Full Razors Shift Review: • Razors Shift Inline Sk...
I got a pair of the brand new Razors Shift skates this week. I'm going to do a full review on them but wanted to hit the park and see how they feel. These are my first impressions from my first session so keep that in mind when making buying decisions.

Did you have to shave down some of the soul plate for the 72 wheels to fit ?

Do you feel any pinch points around the ankles? I have the new Twisters from RB and can only wear them for about 10 minutes before they start to really dig into my ankle bones.

Hmm, honestly it's been so long I don't remember. I think they fit just fine around the ankle, but I had to upsize 1/2 to an 11.

Hey, how did you get the oysi frames to fit with 72mm, 60mm wheels? Mine rub the soul plate.

You have to modify the soulplates to fit 72s. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4ttk7CEiq-TcaQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWGd07WeoKrQY5c.html www.oysius.com/oywp/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/20170117-Oysi-Technical-Specifications-Soul-Plate-Modification-Template.pdf

wow, the 180 jump up the ramp you did at 1:50 was awesome, i just started going to the park today and that was awesome, on a razors shift note, are the skates "roomy" at the toe area ? because it looks like the boot is flat and almost squished at the toes, i ride the solos and i like the room in the toes and these skates are in my sights so i was wondering... thanks G

Thanks! Check my Birthday edit, I 360 it. (I'm horrible at airs and spins, so anything is good in my book!) Birthday edit: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lX6V2rlsj660drw.html I wouldn't say they're roomy at all. They're a pretty tight boot and I had to size up to a size 11. You could use some thinner liners in there, but out of the box they're like a full size up from other skates. (I ride a size 10 Aeon). Full Shift review: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qa6a08eEdMS0cdY.html

SergioRuiz the shifts are great! But they do have a squeaking problem. Someone found a fix for it by waxing the part where the cuff meets the boot. The razor shift 2s addressed this problem and don't make that noise. I believe there were other minor changes but it's essentially the same skate. If you do have wide or big feet, I'd recommend switching to a skinny liner like the myfit skinny. Personally I switched out to a fat boy because I have skinny feet and have extra room in my boot.

Turns out the reason they're spelled the way they are is because it's the designers middle name :) he didn't know what else to call them and he thought his name was spelled pretty cool lol
