Hi Lino this is what i did, sell all my skates and now i dont have to think a lot about what skates to take to a skate trip. The Shift is a very good allround skate and i dont need to worry about taking a extra pair of skates to explore the city. What an Change!

My shift \ cosmos are the best skates I've ever owned hands down. (I use the cosmos to get to work, and then switch to shift mode when I go to the skate park.) AMAZING SKATE --- I also bought the Razors Metro Bag. Seriously the best product suite I've bought in a long time.

how long have you had them?

So far my favorite thing about the shift is traveling with them because I can go to a new city and skate to the park and just change my wheels I could have some SUV frames, 110mm tri, and aggressive frames and have them all just ready to go in the same backpack.

i finaly subbed to you, you wheel addict :-) . Also i got myself the aeon 60 in the sam crofts version and allredy make some tricks with it :-) was over 15 years of not blading, but now i restartet again

I added a 45° strapped to my shifts and it was very easy and adds quite a bit of heel lock and power transfer but I don't think it's totally necessary if you are skating freestyle. For commuting it is helpful though

Maby in this case it might be better to buy cosmos and a shift soleframe? specially when you have enough frames? I like 45degree buckles.... what do you think?

Wow Lino! Your skills are getting better n better. Training or skates? 😅

I love these skates but they have been a bit of a maintenance nightmare at first. Every single bolt has backed out on me at least once. The original big core wheels decored on me in a few weeks but they don't seem to be shipping with those any more. The Reign carry straps still work fine but they ripped at the seems. Also before waxing the cuffs they are ridiculously loud. All of that said I love these skates. The liner is fantastic and once everything start to wear in every problem disappears. I do wish the Shift 2 came with the option of the 45 strap but that is an easy mod if I ever really want it. If your like me and like experimenting with different frames I highly recommend the Shift 2.

Can you use the razor shift skate on downhills like the ones in your video? And if so what is the difference in comparison with the 5 or 6 inline skates? Thank you. I used to own the AR Oxygen skate back in the early 00's.

Hey man - recent fan. I sk83d from 12-25 & I also sk83d the Roces (tan) and they felt like a shoe with wheels. I’m 41 and my town just put in a small sk8 park & I wanna hit it sooo bad. But where I’ve been outta the game for a min idkw sk8’s to purchase for grinding/street/small vert. And really was just wondering maybe if you had a suggestion. I have a wider type foot 10-1/2. Just wanna be comfortable with durability.

Hei Lino, You mentioned a couple times that the TAO is your favorite Free skate boot now, I would love to see you comparing the TAO with the KAZE and probably the NEXT. I use to skate exclusively aggressive skate, you got me into big wheels and I really love it, Thank you for that!

My foot is a US 10 with a 5E width so I know the pain of finding skates that fit. I'm currently in the Shift 2 10.5 and haven't had any issues. They are still super new but I have heard a lot of good things about the new THEM 908s as a grinding set ups for wide feet. Sounds like they are very comparable to how Valos are but us with duck feet can actually fit in them.

Paweł Kulinowski i had them on v13’s which from what i hear are more flexy then the m12 plastic. They were extremely fun and i would skate around 9 miles at a time on them. If you really want to have the best experience probably get a dedicated freeskate boot. But to be honest i have them on some salomon st’s right now and there soo much fun still. If you use them on the m12’s it will help so much if you use hockey laces that will strap around the cuff

Looking for a little help finding those big wheels with the frame that fits this skate. I have found Shift 2 on several websites, but I am not seeing these big wheels. Would love to get mine set up for both aggressive and street riding. Can someone point me in the right direction. Size 12-13, USA, Willing to order outside US.

Hey lino thanks for your content. One thing I would like to see is more scientific content. For example tell us the ride height on the skates you review. Tell us the sole plate dimensions. For example does this skate have as generous of a sole plate as the aeons? If not how much difference is there. Love your content but please throw a little science in there and less objective opinions. Since most of us are not lucky enough to have skate shops near us it would be good to know these things. Thanks for all you do and your time.

Is the shell of the Shift identical to the Cozmo with the exception of the 45 degree strap on the Cozmo? ie can you buy the Cosmo complete and put a Shift soulframe on it and have essentially a Shift with a 45 degree strap, plus a big wheel set-up?

Ya, I did it, and it's literally dope. This is the greatest skate combo I've ever owned. It saves SO MUCH SPACE haha.

I have a question. I am a newbie in aggressive world. I bought razors loca yesterday. But it is possible to change the parts to the brands of Kaltik or to Kizer? Can I use Katik and Kizer parts or frame for Razors boots?

You can switch the frames and sometimes liners and cuffs but the soul plates generally are exclusive to the boots with some exceptions. As long as the frames are UFS,(that stands for universal frame system), you should be fine. That means they are flat and don´t have any heel elevation and the measures are standard between manufacturers. So any UFS frame should work with your Razors.Just pay attention to the correct frame sizes, they generally run in S, M, L - Small, Medium and Large. Hope that helps!

Obrigado! Mas hey.. os bons tempos do inline são feitos por nos. Eu continuo a achar que os patins estão cada vez melhores. Neste momento só quem realmente gosta está ligado a este Desporto, o Material é excelente, existem parques .. sempre a subir 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼💥 aproveita o parque , É EXCELENTE!

They're the next size up unfortunately so a bit big for him. I'm sure nowadays he'd be using the US8-9 shell for these.

Guys, I'm about to get a pair of skates, now, this is the thing in my country I only find the Shift 1, which are the differences from a pair to another? If I ask for the Shift 2 will take about month to arrive, do you guys think is worth it?
