    I only ever skated Cults once back in the day. My friend let me try his pair that were a whole shell size too big. Even though they were huge on me I couldn't believe how light and responsive they were. Usually it takes me a while to get a feel for a new boot but I landed all my tricks in those first try.. even a 540 on the flat ground which I could never do in my Salomons at the time. Will definitely have to grab myself a pair. I can only imagine how good they'd be in the correct size xD

    The best performing skate I’ve ever had would have to be remz but they were so painful that it wasn’t worth it. second best is the cult. I’ve done some of my best tricks on them. Like I stated in the video though; the minute you round the soul off you’ll start to have problems locking on to grinds. I primarily skate coping and hand rails. Cess slides will kill the soul plates quick also. Despite that they are still worth it and amazing. You just have to learn to go easy on your skates.

    @@flyingonblades Thanks for the heads up. There's some super rough ledges at my local with only a thin metal coping on them. Sliding out on top just shreds your skates to bits. One of the reasons I'm wanting to try a hard boot, actually. Maybe I'll just have to buy some extra soul kits. xD Also, Remz.. Loved my 0701s, but the HR1.1 and HR1.3 were super painful even just to stand in for me. Which is a shame because I think they're a great looking skate. I've been skating Xsjados a long time now simply because I find them the most comfortable.. even if they're big, clunky and look weird. Haha

    @@flyingonblades first day really breaking them in! Took them to a fun pump track/skate park and aside from them being too narrow for my feet, they are pretty solid! I’m hoping they’ll break in and loosen up a bit on the sides, but lengthwise they are perfect. Def. was locking my souls in no problem. The stock wheels and bearings are iffy though. They roll for a bit and slow pretty quickly. Any suggestions? Or just new bearings? Hope to get video up soon

  • @flyingonblades

    @flyingonblades

    Yes if you are skating the stock frames I’d recommend changing them out. The featherlights are way to flexible and causes very poor power transfer. Maybe try 50/50 frames and 50/50 Abec 9 bearings. The stock wheels should hold up though

    @@flyingonblades thanks for the recommendation dude I've been brainstorming for the past three hours since leaving the park what the best way to go is ahahahaha. @@KB-ev3wm The 50-50 frames have way more internal structure in bracing so they don’t flex like the feather lights. Honestly any frame but feather lights will be good. I actually bought my razors boot only because I knew how terrible those frames are LOL

Orders shipped with USPS are process through Customs and delivered by the destination's government postal service. International Orders are subject to Customs and/or Duty and/or VAT Taxes. Sweet skates. They look great. This is a skate I never thought of before...but I am definitely am now. Looks like a nice clean skate. I'm just new to aggressive and I don't have any UFS skates or frames yet. So far I just have two pairs of Aeons now. A 60 and 80. I like them a lot. Been blading since the mid 90's, but always street skating. I'm really getting hyped about aggressive now...even though I'm 61. I don't care. I'm in better shape than most guys half my age and I'm on a carnivore diet. So strong bones. lol

    Yes you can definitely do it! My best advice is to always stay 100% focused... in-line skating is very euphoric so it’s easy to loose focus because it feels so good and natural. If someone falls or gets injured it’s usually because they lost that intense focus(but sometimes it can happen to anyone) Age is just a number! There is an aggressive skater named Frank Hernandez that is almost 80. He’s a big inspiration to me. Also Tony Hawk & his longevity.

    Yo what's up, I'm looking at cults at the moment and I've never tried any on. I can currently fit a medium 9-10 THEM 908 and I'm wondering if I could fit the 8-9 cult shell. According to thisissouls spreadsheet both shells measure 290mm inside. Just not sure about the width. Wondering if you've skated THEMs and if you know about width and fit between these models? I will no doubt have to change the liners, but that's fine. ✌️

  • @flyingonblades

    Unfortunately I don’t have the razors 8-9 on hand. I used to have a pair in that size for my wife… Even though I am a US men’s 10.5 I had no problem wearing them skates size medium 9-10 for years. I could actually skate the 8-9 razors for a few minutes. The width actually felt not too bad it was the length that was too short for my foot. I think you’ll probably have pretty good luck downsizing. I would suggest trying to find some local skaters in a Facebook group and see if you can try on somebody’s razor cult 8-9. Most of the skate shops like roller warehouse or Oak city have a really good return policy. If you order a pair and try them on and roll around on a clean kitchen floor without grinding them they will usually take the skates back and exchange for a bigger size. I am still loving these cults. I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to ever skate anything else again. It sucks because I wish I would’ve discovered this when I was like 17 instead of 37 :P I never, ever miss grinds with these skates!

    @@flyingonblades Thanks for your response. I will try some Facebook groups and see if I can find a shell to try on and if not I think I'll just go for it. Like you say I can always return for a size swap if in stock. That's cool you've found the boot for you now. At least you've got to try different skates on the journey to finding your perfect one, I think that's half the fun. I've got skates I love atm, but I've become a bit fixated on downsizing recently and finding the closest fit. When I was a kid I used to skate size 12s and I don't know why I never realised how big they were haha

    I’ve had cults before in 2003, 2011 & 2017… at the time I didn’t realize how special they were. I just thought I was really good. Now that I look back at footage though I see that I did a lot of my best tricks of all time on cults. Our parents always sold us on the idea of wearing bigger shoes that we would grow into. A lot of times when I meet people and get them into skating I make them realize they have been wearing the wrong shoe size since their teens. Everyone is usually at least one size too big!
