    Great video, I just finished replicating your work thank you for the clear instrucrion. I have one question when it comes to tighten the front screw how far did you go in until the end or u leave some room to springs?

    I tightened them all the way up. The ones that came out were tight as well on mine. I don’t think you need to leave any extra room. The threads on my bolt were only on the first 2 inches or so.

    I would do the same thing I did here, replace the front springs and rear shock. You could get smaller stuff if you don’t want to raise it as high. I’m pretty sure the stock mx500 suspension parts are the same.

    What type of plumbing coupling did you use and what size was it. The original plastic bushing on mine is crap

    It was just a regular pvc end cap. I think it was a 1 inch diameter. I just brought the spring with me to Home Depot to make sure it would fit.

    I don’t know any supplier other than the one I linked. The bolt was 200mm long.

    They should fit or it will probably be a pretty harsh ride.

    I have a Razor Mx650 w/ 48v 2000w and I want to get the new Electro and Co 72v 6000w kit for it along w/ head lights, tail lights and turn signals so I can get it registered as a moped or something in my state.... It's one of the easiest bikes to mod and I love it.

    Damn that kit is like $1300. It’s looks awesome but I don’t think I would ever consider riding this outside my neighborhood. I have some headlights, taillights, turn signals that I am going to make a video on in a couple of weeks.

    @@MarleyJaxGarage - That's my next plan for upgrades soon, I want the headlight/horn combo, brake light and turn signals on the back and 2 on the forks so I can potentially get it registered as a "small displacement" moped or even as an electric moped.... If I have any problems getting it registered or at least street legal because it doesn't have pedals then I have a plan for that. 😁

    Great video. Really appreciate the walk through. Does anyone have any specs on the spring? I see the OD id 1" and length is 7". Any idea on load rating? Or has anyone bought a good pair somewhere else and could share the link?

    Thanks man, glad you liked it. I wish I would have taken more measurements before I installed them. The seller still has some on eBay so you might be able to send him a question. Hopefully someone with good knowledge of springs will come along and leave a comment.

    I ended up swapping out for a slightly smaller rear shock. Added a headlight/taillight and some handlebar risers. I have two videos coming up going through all my final upgrades.

    @@bach2458fuck I can’t remember exactly now it’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I ended up using two extenders lol. Then did the same thing he did and used some PVC pipe and a saw for the bushing lol.

    I don’t think you need bigger springs for your weight. The current spring is definitely rated for that. I only did this because I am 200 pounds.

    Wth that’s weird now. Screw it I ride crf50’s fine still at 38 and 210lbs. Short little bikes are better to throw around and wheelies are easy. That’ll flop you on your butt so fast with that swing arm angle. Lol

    For the rear shock almost any mountain bike shock will work. I was looking at this one also DNM Damping 2 System Mountain Bike Rear Shock www.amazon.com/dp/B01BIQN5UG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZCVEBF22NKZT478SXEAK. The front springs are 7 inches long 1 inch outside diameter. Hopefully the seller will have some in stock soon if you don’t want to buy individually.

    Looks ridiculously out of proportion now. You need a much smaller shock in the rear.
