Good job man, been on a hunt for a decent webcam that isn’t as pricy as a DSLR but can get the job done. This video put a lot of good tests in the mix to determine which one I go for, thanks!

auto focus is a major bummer on the kiyo pro

Great video. Thanks for the help. I've been trying to decide between these exact models and this pushed me to the Razer.

I was between the Kiyo Pro and the AVerMedia 513, but ultimately went with the AVerMedia, and it's pretty incredible with good lighting; near dslr quality. The characteristics that pushed me to the AVerMedia are no autofocus (you can turn this off on the kiyo pro), no fisheye effect at the wide POV, and ability to punch-in without losing image quality given the 4k sensor. The early firmware on the AVerMedia had some issues so make sure you update the firmware, and it needs good lighting to really shine. It's an incredible webcam though once setup properly.

It works in obs but you have to activate it in synapse. I have both cameras and the streamcam records way better in returning the kiyo pro. After all the testing and messing around it never compared to the stream cam. FYI

@@MoeMeta thanks for the information!! Oh really!? I returned the streamcam because I was not that happy with the quality 😩 but now I use a 10€ capture card with my Sony RX100 IV, its awesome. Back in the day a capture card was so expensive I did not think about it before buying the streamcam 😅!

Every experience I have ever had with Razer has shown that they are a company that makes well performing products with absolutely garbage longevity. I can't imagine their webcams have half the life span of other brands.

Kiyo has better light adjustment capability, but somehow the colour is abit veiled, like colour tone is not as good as the Logi streamcam.. i think if have proper light setup, i'd go with the streamcam

I Liked the Logi Streamcam. Images are great on that cam. (If you are using lights on setup).

The MS webcam ain't what it used to be (not that it was ever so great). I've bought 2 recently, and one died within a month, the other has a defective microphone and sounds horrible. I would NOT recommend it, even at a cheap sale price.

@@danmagoo I ve been using one for almost a decade, it s a terrible cam for todays standards. Very poor, slow, buggy autofocus, no software at all to play with settings and terrible image quality under poorly lighted environments.

In my country, Kiyo is twice the price of Logitech sooo.... yeah.

ill be honest i tried a razer webcam before and it didn't go past 5 months without me having to repair it... these razer cams are just way too short lived..

The focus pulsing is a concern on the Kiyo

Nope i have streamcam i pay 120€ but i wpuld like to buy razer but the proce go on 220€ so i decided go for logi and maybe after take a mirrorless.... Same stuff whot my micro the yeti x wow edition i pay 160€ and my buddy in other country paid 200€ 😅😅
