Exactly. You can get a wireless charging Rgb headset stand for around $20 on Amazon…. $50 more for less, but with chroma compatibility, and a headphone jack….because so many people are willing to buy a $70 stand, but not pony up for wireless 😂… I like it, but do I $70 like it 🤔🤦‍♂️

If you use Razer products and have the Razer Synapse software installed, you can link the Base Station with all of your peripherals, giving you the ability to run an extremely varied number of RGB lighting effects, if you are into that sort of thing. Also, the Base Station feels metallic because it's made from aluminum, not plastic.

Ist the base station v2 combined with the blackshark v2 x the same as the blackshark v2 with usb Soundcard? Cause the base station has the dac 7.1 built in and i wonder if i can use thx on the blackshark v2 x then?

I think you completely missed what made it v2. From the v1 you get USB 3.0 ports and 3 of them, while the v2 you get only 2 USB ports but they are 3.1. The bigger upgrade and this is to keep up with the current top 'gamer headset stand' from Corsair, is the audio out. This serves as a DAC and can output 7.1 surround sound. Might have been gimmicky but regardless missed that in the review. These changes make it identical to the Corsair ST100 and same price point. 70 dollars is definitely steep but I think if you are the type of person even considering this, you've already dropped extra money on extra bells and whistles.

Those bells and whistles are really cool, but less than 10% of gamers care about that. I just like the USB ports and the Lighting. The stand is fine, but it's still steep for $70. USB 3.0 to 3 1 is a good upgrade, but again, I think it's a hard sell to most people.

Is there any way to utilize the speakers if you have a wireless headset?

WOW that is pricey... think I will stick with the Command Stick hook I have on the wall lol. It's cool but I don't see myself dropping that much Ching on a headphone stand even with all the features it has.

I'm no expert, but yoir computer should automatically recognize the station and start installing software. From there you can download more stuff. That's very odd it isn't showing up

That seems pretty expensive, I think I would stick with a coat hanger and tape on a LED light, lol. Another great review.

Are you sure that's "about a 6 ft cable"? I've read that it is 3ft and cannot confirm anywhere. I need at least 5 ft. for my setup. Please advise!

I just unplugged it and used a measuring tape. It is 5 ft 7 inches long from the base of the stand to the tip of the USB plug.

V1 has the shorter cable not sure the exact length though.

The Nari Ultimate's can't use it's full functions when connected to something that isn't a PC. secretly, I was hoping this would allow those functions to be present

Since GPU's and CPU's are hard to get a hold of this year I've relegated myself to just upgrading all my peripherals, picked up the Blackwidow V3 pro Keyboard, Blackshark V2 pro headset and the Deathadder V2 pro (with the chroma dock which cost the same as this thing) .. something tells me I should dump the extra pennies on this just to make it a set, that and it will be replacing the cheap and nasty headset stand I got for 10 quid.

I can get a hanger to hang my bunches of bananas or a mannequin head with a circle or square base on it to hang up my headset if I want. I keep my headset in the box when I know where the mic is when I plug my headset in the controller

this video is 2 years old and it's still the same price which is crazy... i think it's a device that is a good idea, but the price is not right for what it does. You can get brand new razer headphones or even a razer mouse for cheaper than this stand lul - plus the light is not that great, if the whole base lit up that would be cooler and maybe worth $59 price or something.

I just love razer that’s why and recently picked up the razer basilisk v3 over the 2 weeks and it’s hands down the most perfect mouse you can get in the world it’s the coolest thing in my setup so this would go with it and I’m getting myself into razer a lot. And this is unbelievably simple I like that. And like you said I mostly care about lighting😁

if it saves you $300 dollars by giving you a good place to hang your headset as opposed to a place that accidentally destroys it . .its worth the 60$.

@@manuelcaycedo561 no lol. There is a part, on the sides, that's plastic. It's extremely weak. If it moves enough, and it did, the plastic fatigues, and then breaks. I solved it, on another headset, by using duct tap around the weak joints :). Is Razer a ripoff? Most definitely, but anything a lot better would cost more so . . *shrugs*

The first version looked alot nicer, specialy the mercury white version. they sell it for 70 dollar and dont put a bit of time on the design, if it wasnt for the brand logo then it would be impossible to sell it for this price. I have seen many headset stands but this is the worst design i ever seen.

It's the an expensive way to hang your headset on something instead of a desk or drawer. It so has 2 usb hubs that plug into your pc and it acts as a passthrough.
