I have absolutely no idea why. But years later, today, this voice and audition popped in my head and I couldn't remember where it was from. Lets you know how great of a performance this was. Finally found it!

I couldn’t remember his audition but Lady Kfrom last season sung this exact song in the same style as Rayvon so maybes that’s why?

Still my all time favorite audition of American Idol

I was a fan from day 1!!!

This video was the first time I heard this song years ago, and I watched this over and over. It is AMAZING how memories come back. I guess I just heard the real Wide Awake a few minutes ago, and the “God knows that I tried seeing the bright side” line gave me immediate deja vu. Even though it was sung completely differently here. It’s like my mind rejected that “new version” and all the sudden I’m down the KZread rabbit trying to remember where’d I heard the version I remember. Wow.

They showed the winner of this season on the finals and I had no clue who he was so I get one to see who was on that season and remembered everyone but nick...

I go to Henrico High school and I'm in the Center For The Arts, Musical Theatre. I heard he'll come in and teach sometimes and if that is the case I can't wait to meet him!

God, I loved this guy, and I really miss American idol but....... the show was so full of crap at the same time, they were not always fair towards contestants. It's just so many processes you had to go through before you even reached THIS round

he was rude to me and I mean not Rly but I sent him a do and he left me on read.... no heart no nothing

his audition was gorgeous but he sucked in the live rounds. he was like a one trick pony

I hate when people sing and they carry the note way too far, like at the end of a song they will say the last word and just carry it on and on and on like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" and they think, and every one else thinks, it is soooo amazing and good. To me, it is purely annoying. A little bit of the "AAAAAHHHH" is okay but, it is so fucking annoying to me no matter who is singing it. I don't care who you are or how famous you are but that long drawn out "AAAAHHHH" is annoying as fucking hell.
