Even though Uribe threw the first punch, there is absolutely no accountability from MLB for bad sportsmanship. Siri is an a$$ who will show players up when he gets a hit. The Umpires know that Siri is an a$$, hence why Peralta got thrown out even though it had only been one HBP.

Our first BRAWL TIME of 2024!

Umpire playing instigator and needlessly tossing a pitcher and manager for whatever reason

The umps had it in for the Crew all series and frustration just spilled over. Cooler heads should have prevailed after Freddy got his retaliation shot...he pimped a homerun, big deal...move on and get the W. Maybe this is the spark needed to correct the ship of the Crew so they get more intense and swing better bats because outside of Freddy their starting pitching is pretty suspect.

U cannot throw him out there. There’s no way that’s intentional. They said he hit someone else already so he’s a little wild. There was no warning. If u have to discuss it like that then I should be giving a warning. If no warning and it’s not clear and obvious you give a warning. What on Earth?? Not a fan of either team but that’s just wrong. Giving up baserunners is the only way TB gets back in the game. Dumbest ejection of the season behind the Aaron Boone one

I think you can debate the quick hook, but there isn't a debate about the plunking, if you watch the at bat after the ball 3, the catcher used hand signals. The announcers even mentioned it. The rest of the game they used the pitch com, save for that pitch

Full on brawl for the brewers and it wasn't even because of Rhys Hoskins? Not what I expected when we signed him.

Ahhh gotcha. The starting pitcher didn't like how Siri showed him up on the HR...well can't give up HRs 😂 but I enjoyed the fight... refreshing

A lot of fighting instructors on the mlb Facebook pages criticizing the two players fighting techniques. Saying they both missed and it was weak slaps. Like they would be able to dodge those slaps themselves. Uribe showed restraint by wanting to give him a smack and not a fist, in the latin culture that is not seen as wimpy just slapping someone that mouths off. Like the dummies talking on the comments saying it was a slap contest. They both had good reflexes and dodged most of the swings.

Th ejection came late in the game. And by the way the rays bat against pitching, there was no comeback.

So if you hit a homer you can't watch it for a couple seconds but when you get back to the dugout the whole team can act like 7 year olds. Got it.

You're dominating the Rays not sure why you would throw at someone. He takes his base, umps toss pitcher (Not Siris decision or fault), then almost gets assaulted for going to 1st on a groundout. Is there history between these 2 teams? This is a headscratcher for me. Seems like that Brewers pitcher should be suspended
