In this video, I embark on an adventure to uncover a temple I stumbled upon on Google, armed with only limited information. I couldn't believe there was so little information on Google and few videos made about this temple on KZread. The captivating photos I discovered piqued my interest, motivating me to explore and document the area personally. So here we are!
Wat Namtok Thammarot, a local temple nestled in the northern part of Rayong Province, lived up to my expectations with its breathtaking beauty. Spanning over 800,000 square meters, the temple is situated in a beautiful natural area. But once again, there were no informational signs throughout the entire area. Information about this place is limited, and I've made an effort to provide as much accurate detail as possible without spreading misinformation.
Despite the need for maintenance in the whole area, the temple is undeniably worth a visit, as the architecture of the main temple is unique and beautiful.
It's also very important to mention that the waterfall will peak during the mid and end of the rain season in Thailand. So if you want to top the experience, you should plan a visit during this season.
Have in mind also that the temple is located far away in the countryside. So the best way to get here is by car/truck.
Following my exploration of the stunning temple, I decided to drive an additional 60 kilometers down to the popular coast of Laem Mae Phim. To my surprise, the hosts of Rayong Walking Street were setting up over 100 street vendors! This place is a haven for food enthusiasts.
