I love Alexandrova. To me, she's a better representative of the Bolshoi style than some of the more hyped-up stars. She's capable of bravura dancing but not at the expense of technical correctness, and she understands the subtleties between different styles and how to vary the plastique accordingly. You would never mistake her Raymonda for, say, Kitri, and vice versa.

I agree.. and I also love her partner, Nikolai Tsiskaridze. They have danced together since they were in the Academy in so many ballets, amazing partners and friends. Love them together. I like Zakharova too, she was another good partner of Tsiskaridze but Osipova for me is too hyper for classics

Agree. She’s one of the best top graduates of Bolshoi Ballet Academy and is the best example of the Bolshoi style. Zakharova on the other hand is a text book Vaganova school example and is a perfect example of a modern classical Mariinsky ballerina. Osipova, a great actress and technician but at the expense of correctness.

Whoever filmed it put all focus on Alexandrova and cut Tsiskaridze out, shows just her standing while he is dancing. That makes me angry. "It's amateur video obviously made by her fan and I wanted to see him dance Jean de Brienne and not watch her stand.
