I love how he says "finally" you can tell he's been waiting for her

sometimes -not really often- but sometimes the scriptwriters remember what we really wanna see. A Happy Ending is all we're asking for and this was just perfect!

I didn't really need to see a kiss or have this elaborate ending. I love the way they did it. I loved the simplicity of it. They just looked at each other and knew that they were finally at the right place and time. I thought this was such a sweet moment and I wouldn't change anything about it. But that's just my personal opinion.

Such a long time coming. I LOVED that they ended up together. Just as it should be.

More than two years later, and still tearing up about this... and Shane tweeted yesterday, I love him and Mindi for keeping the Reela love alive!

yer she finally realised that she was in love with him so she left and went to him at the clinic where we works for injured soldiers and people who have lost limbs. It was very sweet.

So the best ending for a love story must be a happy ending?.... Hahahaha 😂 tell it to Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, he just happened to write the best love story in all mankind (and for the record I don't even like Grey's Anatomy).

finally. ray has his princess and neela has her prince.

Ray was waiting for one thing. For Neela to finally make a move and show him she wants him just as much he wants her. He kissed her more than once. Neela just had to stop running scared and take a chance on Ray. She told Brenner her problem was the fear of making a mistake and wanting something so much but it scared the hell out of her. She’s been in love with Ray this whole time just scared. She didn’t want to run scared anymore hence her showing up in Baton Rouge to show Ray. So romantic ❤️

When people ask me why ER is better than G.A., I show them this video. lol And the one about Mark’s farewell. And the one where Romano tells Peter’s son “Take care of your dad” using sign language. And, of course, Abby’s last dance.

I'm rewatching the series and Ray & Neela were always my favorite couple. I hated what the writers did with Ray's character when the actor left the show. It was way too much frustration, drama, they could never make R&N have one second of happiness. But at least it ended the way I wanted it too in the end.

I still love this clip!! If I get sad I watch it haha They make the best pairing...one word just says everything 'finally'

i, like, SCREAMED out of sheer happiness when he turned around....i did NOT know he was gonna be on this particular episode so it was a big shock!!!

He got happy ending in Nikita and Salem too.

I love Neela and Ray as a couple. Neela matured as well and realized that Ray had deep feelings for her. Both got better as people.

In real life, Neela was very pregnant as you can almost see her baby belly as she comes through the door. How sweet!

I knew they'd always belong together! ♥

It reflects ever slightly the Ross and Hathaway reunion when she joined him in Seattle

This scene was spectacular even though it was not enough for their fans it left something open for the imagination!

I loved neela and Michael. But Ray was definitely the one she was supposed to end up with after. He was the special someone Michael wanted her to be happy with after he was gone.

One of the brilliances of ER is that it happened before social media. You rarely heard of any actor grievances, so writers can properly have characters exit and return.

Underrated!!

I loved Neela/Gallant in the beginning but then Roomies just got great build up only to be destroyed. Im glad they gave us our ending even if it was just throwing us a bone. Neela/Tony was just the worst pairing ever on ER. Then they just kept shoving John Stamos down our throats.

Winter's Beauty I liked Tony, but he and Neela had no chemistry. I think the sole purpose of that relationship was to help Neela start to move on past Gallant’s death. And I actually thought that Gallant’s death was to pave the way for Ray/Neela. Sam and Tony were the better time pairing for both of their characters.

Sometimes less is more. That would have put the scene over the top and cheapened the meaning, I think. This was more about their emotional connection than a physical one.

Yep also played when Abby left as well. I also remember Abby did something very similar to mark on her last shift. No one knew it was her last shift until it was too late. ER got into the habit of using that same song when popular characters were leaving.
