It all comes full circle. Rawest Forest played a big part of the Mario RPG revolution in the cry out for Geno for Smash. This goes all the way back to the early days of KZread. Unbelievable feeling.

For those who don't know, Chris has been voice acting in many TV shows, such as OK K.O., a show I loved watching in my early youth (around when I was 9 years old). He was also recently hired to be a VA for One Piece (the English dub). He even animated many classics on Newgrounds, such as the NiN10Doh trilogy, and even the original form of this video. I was not aware of his work then. However, since I'm 14, it's amazing to see that an amazing animator and voice actor is still productive today!

You're well spoken for just going into high school. Props dude. I've been following Chris since the NiN10Doh trilogy. Since Rawest Forest. Since Parody Rangers, Brawl Taunts, Niko Niko Douga, I followed a lot of his stuff, and I was around, what...I was 12 in 2005...so I was 15 when I saw the Parody Rangers Movie Trilogy. That was 15 years ago today. It came out on an October. I can't tell you how much it warms my heart that he's still inspiring people to this day. He was no different than any of us back then. He had no education or background, or anything. He's like Brendan Small in Home Movies. Just making these animations, dubbing cartoons, hosting collabs, working with other talented people. Even made an entire original animated series in TOME. It was all entirely silly and jerryrigged together nonsense, but it was also hilarious and impressive. He was in highschool when he did all that. I think he is in his 30's now, about the same age as me. The fact that he's still doing the same thing he's always done, and more? Hearing his voice in some of my favorite shows?? Amazing.

You have no idea how much this means to me. The original meant so much to me when I was a child and I've tried to make my own one for years. This was literally my favorite video on KZread when I was like 9 years old and thought it would be very cool if this is gonna be remade with better look and better animation. Seeing the video actually got remade makes a 20 years old man cry. This video is gonna be awesome :) Edit: It was better than I expected. Thank you for making this

I was merely 9 years old when the original came out. I was in primary school (UK), and now I’m 25 after Graduating university. This is a literal blast from the past, and this is PERFECT for the remake coming out. Amazing work to everyone involved in bringing my childhood back with this!

There's so much to love in this remake. One tiny detail I like is the snifit with a coffee cup during the princess's new "Let me escape" line, calling back to the original video's "coffee break" where that line was just silent.

...Right, up, up, right, up, and left... ...Fudge, you REALLY DO remember the pattern the rest of your life.

The nostalgia is so damn real. After a long, hard, crappy day. This was just...wonderful.

I would watch this all the time when I was 9 years old back in Newgrounds. Now I’m in my 20s and seeing the original version remade by you again is making my mind flow with nostalgia. Thank you, Kirbopher!

Man, the pure rush of nostalgia I got from this remake is HUGE. I also love the little references to Super Mario RPG, the OG 2004 Newgrounds audio, and the three other versions (That being Waltz of the Forest, the original animation, and kanipan's arrangement).

I Sang this in Elementary school over a decade ago thinking this was the most awesome song ever, holding up class, and embarrassing myself I went home still enjoying the Game despite the embarrassment of that singular day. I'm so glad this Game finally Got a remake, and I'm so glad to have finally found this song again, but Remade.

I still remember when i was a kid playing games on my sister computer when i noticed a strange mario game in 3d that scares me, it started in a castle with strange looking koopas and a bowser i never believe could look like that. I leave the game because i didn't understand english and since kid never knew how to make progress in an rpg, but now after playing the remake, all those memories come back, so joyful
