this feels like some type of catharsis for the dev team after years of completely unspecial characters, toads, and bosses (except for origami king), here comes the ttyd remake, where one of the new and most difficult bosses in the entire franchise, is a toad variant and a fucking awesome one at that

Not except for Origami King though?? It still had the same restrictions, they just bent over backwards to do more within those restrictions. They were still very much there.
