I would go heavier and use the 2 3/4 oz size :)

there is a shoal that comes up out of deeper water :)

....hook went right into my hand.....I used the ice on the boat to freeze it, then I took it out...you are the only person who noticed that :)

...a 7 or 7 1/2 foot, one piece, medium or medium/heavy action rod and reel size depends on line capacity you want :)

@@bendoss2428 I was using a 7 ft. one pc., MED HEAVY Penn rod and a Slat Striker reel - good luck on the water :)
