It always melts my heart and brings tears to my eyes when you feed the children, seeing all your passion into cooking all that good food for the children makes me happy, but I won’t lie to you that I truly miss Grandpa, true inspiration, very warm hearted man , I keep watching all the videos with Grandpa , I miss him 😢

My mother would jave a fit with the way they peeled those plantains. That rice looked so colorful and delicious.

I love how they continue grandpa's legacy.. keep up the good deed

Wow I remember when I was a depressed kid eating my feelings away and just watching grandpa cook up some meals and now that I’m 20 it’s been nearly 5 years since life hasn’t been the same I’m go back rn and watch some good memories of him May he rest easy and watch over all the people hearts that he touched while he was alive❤❤❤

The bananas that you buy from your grocery store are green (raw) bananas before they turn yellow 😂 so technically those bananas from the video are the same as the one’s that you buy from your grocery store. Lol

They are plantains not bananas ,bananas are sweeter plantains when raw have no flavor

I'm from the Dominican Republic and we don't peel plantains this way yes they are also called plantains, and we surely do not eat the peel you're not supposed to eat the peel

looks great but can anyone explain why they dont just peel the bananas instead of using a peeler and leaving a lot of skin on? i know they arent fully ripe but its still possible to peel like a normal banana.

raw banana skin doesn't come out easily, it is kind of still connected to the meat of the banana, so using peeler is easier and faster
