Ce rare documentaire revient sur la vie et l'art de Ravi Shankar, joueur de sitar virtuose indien le plus renommé au monde, premier ambassadeur de la musique indienne. C'est à partir de 1956 qu'il la popularise en Occident. Nous le suivons alors qu'il donne son dernier concert européen à Paris, salle Pleyel, lors de son unique cours public sur son art, moment de grande émotion (scènes entrecoupées d'explications par un musicologue) et enfin alors qu'il transmet son art à sa fille, Anoushka. Ce documentaire qui mêle scènes de concert, d'enseignement et d'enregistrement, est une sorte dau revoir de/à l'artiste.

Sorry to say this - but looking at Anuska Shankar's it looks like she is highly arrogant or rude But on other hand Shri Pandit Ravi Shankar and Tabla Vadak gentleman give so much of gratitude while playing music - this also means how well you can respect someone before asking for respect on such a great platform Music was really beutiful 🙏
