Do you know if that piece of trim that is behind/surrounds the door handle with red stitching is an insert or removeable?

Do you have a video of assembling it back on. Not sure which lock cable goes on the top or bottom. Where does the lock cable with green on it go?

Off topic. What switch did you use for the additional lights on the hood hinges? Did you find a switch that you can install into one of the blanks for a "stock" appearance?

Great Video, thought I could use it to replace my glass (truck broken into). Looks like a job for the dealer seeing the inside. How easy would it be to get a vacum onto the actual door itself to pull out the smashed glass?

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it!!…sorry to hear that man, people can suck sometimes…it’s honestly not too bad, that white area you see on the inside of door after removing panel can come off and it gives you access to the interior where the glass would most likely fall to… if that makes sense…haha…I would imagine you could probably get down in there pretty well with the proper attachment on a shop vac or vacuum!

is there any gap between the metal and the plastic on your tundra doors? I can see a slight gap in mine and some of the insulation material...

do you not have a rattle on yours? I have the identical truck. My door rattles with every thump of the bass, been thinking about taking the door panel apart to try and pinpoint the issue.

i have the front passenger door rattle on my sr5 with premium audio package that seems common. drivers door is ok. i noticed a few differences between my truck and yours at least on the passenger side door. i do not have the white insulation stuff on the back of my door panel, just bare plastic, and i seem to have different speakers that don’t have the orange surround like yours. what trim and audio package do you have? wondering if the white insulation comes on a higher trim or with a higher audio package. it really seems that the rattle is coming from the door panel itself and not the speaker or anything loose inside.

  • @raylo4074

@@NitroZ18FishingYes, that one. Actually, I am trying to retrofit the memory switch module to my Tundra that has the 8-way Softex seats but in Toyota's wisdom the memory switch module and function is omitted in the SR5 trim. A Toyota engineer says all the harnesses are the same across the trims and all I need to do is install the module and activate it in Techstream. But I don't see those connectors in your video, even though the panel you are removing has the memory switch. Did it come off the truck whose door innards you then show? Or was this panel off a different truck? If you could post some photos of the connectors and harness that go to the memory switch... or perhaps point me to these elsewhere... I'd really appreciate it.
