Rats Invaded These Famous Restaurants When Business Closed for the Night
Rats running around in the open are a plague many major cities face but what happens when restaurants close for the night? The Inside Edition "Rat Patrol" headed to Philadelphia to see if rodents run amok once restaurants close their doors. The team visited well-known spots, including Jim's Steaks and Shake Shack, and they were shocked by what they found. #InsideEdition

I feel like mostly why a lot of the managers didn’t want to talk was because they would rather talk about it in private then having cameras in their face recorded them and making them feel ashamed of themselves, they should be but, it’s still no excuse for having a rodent problem.
I haven't worked in a restaurant before, but I did work in a movie theater in a city doing maintenance and such. We had mice despite having a cleaning crew, an overnight cleaning crew as well as three days a week the pest control guy would come and check traps and reset them. It's a forever battle, especially in cities.

The owner of Jim's Steaks says he doesn't have a rodent problem, after the cameraman captured 3 rats scurrying on the floor of the business. Putting up blinds won't fix the problem.
I hate mice and rats soo much dude, this thing discust me 💀
1:47 mouth watering sandwiches? I would lose my appetite by just looking at that amount of ham

That's not ham, that's either corned beef or pastrami. And that amount is usually how it's served in delis. The meat is very thin and tender that putting anything less will result in a very unsatisfying sandwich. You should try leaving your midwestern trailer once in awhile.

rainbow snout interesting! I see traps I own. I follow Mousetrapgenius and imported a Kness live catch to own a piece of American history. It’s awesome. I can catch all the mice in one night and release them in the wild

The thing is... You can try to stop them. But they find a way. You can only control them. It's a constant battle.
At least the DiBruno guy stood up, bravo!

It really has nothing to do with cleanliness. Mice and rats will occupy a space regardless of how often the rodent people spray or set traps.

Right. Ive never heard of that before. Lol
If I had a restaurant we would lose about 3 cats every night and just do the extra cleanup.
One time I went to one of my favorite restaurants and I Saw a rat and the owner was like shhhhhh don't tell anyone
Then hire security cats. Its that simple.

They would still complain
@ 1:00 the manager of Jim's Steaks shows up and sez I only saw one mouse. "Three blind mice and one blind manager." 😆
It's Remy and his clan cooking dishes no need to invade their cooking space.
The worst to me was that not all owners/managers wanted to even see/hear about it. You'd think they want to know and do something about it.
Seems like a poor way to get the point across. It would be more effective to schedule a meeting with the manager and get them to take stricter measures to stop rodents, and if they don't, then reveal them.
Not Jim’s 🤦🏽♀️. They had a major fire and been closed all year. Hopefully they take care of the issue.
Says they going to Philadelphia for great restaurant Me who lives in Philadelphia: happiness noises
