One-way valves should be fitted in all drains in every home when built, as a matter of course, I think

The reason he did not block the holes is the rats would just move to another part of the house. By poisoning them where they are he does not have to search for them. once they eat the poison they will seek water from outside and die outside . this prevents them dyeing in the house and stinking. then block the holes up.

No, they still die inside and stink the house out.

I got one of those non return valves fitted but the rats still kept coming in under the kitchen sink. This chap is pretty confident the valve will do the trick and usually it does stop rats coming in from the sewers

The one way valves, as per this particular one is the best out there. Snap traps would of been a quicker and as specific way of monitoring activity levels & controlling numbers visiting.

Those poisons aren't always a good idea. In the short run, they may kill the rats but it won't stop more rats from getting into the dwelling like the rat the customer saw. Remember, rats breed quickly in large numbers. He also should've filled in the hole with concrete or any material that rats cannot chew through.

Been having rat issues for several months. Couldn't figure out how they were getting in when we realized they were coming through a sewage pipe up into an opening on the drainage opening on the basement floor. We stupidly took off that circular covering with holes awhile back.

For the rats to get into the kitchen surely there must be a hole in the pipe leading from the toilet?

what a roaster, 1 tray of BROMADIOLONE, not brodijalone is no where near enough. As for the camera, waste of time. Should have thrown everything at that, traps, grain, blocks, or maybe thats just my company.
