A work colleague of mine is in the 1066 Chapter in Hastings and often talks about the Brotherhood that everyone shares. Now I begin to understand seeing this massive turnout for Rat. Respect to all.

l came across this by accident and never knew of the genteman Rat, but this incredible show of love by all who knew him shows how highly he was regarded. Very moving, and sympathy to those who loved and lost him.

I would like to say the road rats saved my mum's life dad life in my life it's a long story don't want to go into it 19 Merrion a great bunch I'm on telly grateful for that day like you I don't know who is is that has passed I salute you sir good luck god bless you I bet he is looking down riding the knucklehead down the Heavens High Road laughing at us and you don't know how good the roads are up here hahaha so I salute you sir my resting in peace not too much and you are a whole new 102 right now

Co founder of the Blue Angels, had a Massive amount of mourner's, but someone call Rat, SUPERB turnout. SHEET, ACHE for my late beloved 05 Bandit 650i., Best bike ever.

I put this cortege on youtube simply to share it with all HAMC members around the world that could not attend due to travel restrictions at the time. It seems that a lot more people appreciate seeing it as well !! I'm afraid I don't know what you mean about someone being mad and cursing at the side of the road ? Unless you mean my own comments about those that parked across the front of my field of view near the end ? Or when I walked into a front fender and gouged my shin as I was trying to keep the video rolling while moving :(

Over 750 bikes were there plus a lot of cars that were already in the grounds. There would have been many more if international members had been allowed to travel. A very respected member and a sad loss.

Not that anyone was asking for your advice but he did go quietly and bravely. This was a show of respect by those he left behind to show how loved he was. No one at this funeral was depressed, rather most were showing their appreciation of a life well lived.

It’s a funeral cortège.Around five miles per hour,by the looks of it,and removing your hat/headgear is a symbol of respect . No one is likely to either fall off,or otherwise get injured at that speed!

You, Of all people should know, That it's nigh on impossible to maintain such low speed control of a bike when you are in the middle of a 600 strong pack of varying ability riders. I agree that any sole rider should be able to ride at walking pace easily but in this situation there are far too many variables to make this a reality.

mine arnt dragging at 5:40. but as said. there are some very experienced riders in this pack. and riders that have probably been riding over 50 years. the fact that we all turned up to show our support and respect, who gives a shit about wearing some boots out.

they look nothing like hells angels, too clean, no nazi insignias, no german helmets....................some wearing shorts ffs@

I'm just going to start deleting dumbass comments asking why riders aren't wearing helmets that the law demands riders use.... Even though its a law doesn't mean it has to be complied with. Everyone has a choice. Those that didn't wear a helmet made their own choice. GET OVER IT.. .

That's incorrect. The riders at this funeral were there because they wanted to be. No one was forced to be there and a lot more were annoyed they could not attend because of travel restrictions.
