The only thing wrong with pet ratties are their “short lifespan”….otherwise they are the MOST intelligent, friendly, and loving little critters💯 Your ratties are AMAZING and ADORABLE 😍🐀🐁❤️

Having owned little ratties, I know how adorable they are, it’s not till you own them that you realise all the “nonsense “ about them is just not true. The are so cute, lucky man❤❤❤❤

i once had a rat way back in 2001 it was my homie when it died i had no clue whatsoever just how short their life span is and i had a real strong bond with him too my hands were all in scratches all the time from how much i interacted with him rats are very based but they are a lil heartbreakers

You’re right, their lifespans are way too short and they are lil heartbreakers. 😔 Most don’t realize the bond one has with them until they experience how social and trusting they become with their human counterparts. Each one we’ve lost was a loss of a friend.

They are such amazing, rewarding pets! ❤ The last time I had rats was about 10 years ago. I'm so excited to be getting 3 girlies in the next few months! I've missed having rats. 🥰 The ONLY negative about them is their short lifespans. 😢

Yep. They are trained to use litter boxes just like a cat. They do still urine mark, though, outside the box. It’s a territorial thing and typically very minor.

Hmmm… great question. They all have their own special personalities so I’m not sure. The rats are much more playful and friendly, and like attention. They climb all over us. The piggies are more skittish but one of them likes having her chin rubbed. My wife is especially close to her. The other one doesn’t like being touched but certainly has me wrapped around her paw when she wants a carrot! She just looks at me and stands up with her front feet on the bars. Works every time!☺️☺️

How do they stay in the cage no roof lol

😊We had to make sure the walls are higher than they can jump. Also had to make sure not to give them any footholds or place items too close to the walls they could use as a springboard.

No offense mah dude, buuuuuuut, those are NOT lap rats..... THESE are lap rats: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZIh12dRviaqXobA.html You can't even get your chaos potatoes to sit still long enough for 'nervous grooming', let alone regular grooming....

Rats have different characters, some are more active and some are more cuddly, but most rats likes to go to someplace safe to eat their treats like these cute fellows ☺️ Every rat is a precious pet, I have had totally over 40 of them since 1988 💖🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀💖

@@mirkkasalo5868 I agree with you 💯 Each rattie I’ve ever had has always had their own distinct personality….and I’ve loved every one I’ve ever had…and I’ve had 50 since 2012…and the amounts of Baytril, doxycycline….and amoxicillin I’ve had to use when they got URI’s….just to save so many of them was countless…but I loved each and every one of them…and gave them the BEST LIFE possible that they could have ever had for the 2-3 years they were with me on this earth. And I still have my ratties ❤️🐀🐁❤️ And they live on thru the babies that they have had. I currently have 7 of them. And they are a pure joy to interact…and be with ❤️
