I got one a few days ago it was dry af

I used to dislike chicken sandwich/burger because it is far inferior compared to beef ones (I had mostly grilled chicken ones). But the first chicken sandwich that changed my mind was the McSpicy Deluxe from McDonalds, it was a super tasty and juicy fried chicken sandwich. They made it really well that I only get chicken sandwich/burger every time I go to a fast food joint. Later on, I continued to try ones from KFC, Popeyes, etc. I must say I am addicted to fried chicken sandwich now lol

I love that Nick doesn’t pretend to be above fast food restaurants and doesn’t act like they taste like garbage. He is a cook and prefers the finer, fancier foods, but loves some good ass McDonald’s.

I just recently found your channel, hasn't disappointed once. That being said, I did this exact thing you did around the whole Popeyes chicken sandwich kick. For my rankings top 3 was KFC taking the number uno chick-fil-a taking silver and Popeyes coming a very close 3rd. Even though chick-fil-a does tent to over cook there bird, it really came down to sauces and service. In my opinion you really can't beat a place who's been in the chicken game since 1952. Again great video. I haven't been disappointed since subscribing.

When I worked at KFC we were half and half with Taco Bell. I was always the only one working in the KFC side, and I had a side cook here and there. I found KFC is probably the easiest fast food place I worked at, and it blows my mind that people still continue to fuck up there. You're quite literally just frying chicken all day and restocking. With that said, Popeye's has the best chicken sandwich.

I think in different parts of town every restaurant has there own unique way of making chicken sandwiches when I saw the Burger King sandwich I was like omg that’s nothing compared to wat I get in Tupelo but after I watched this thank you nick bc I got three chicken sandwiches when I got home 😅😂

I don’t know if you have it in your area, but Zaxbys recently came out with a signature crispy chicken sandwich (they have a spicy one too). It has pickles and a giant piece of fried chicken, along with their zax sauce (you can get the spicy version as well) and a brioche bun. Originally Chicfila was my fave crispy chicken sandwich but……..zaxby’s may have just topped it 👀. If you ever have the chance try it please!

I love the way he respects every worker and he never say bad word about the food also one more thing is that he don’t waste food even tho the food is bad

I had all these and I have no idea still what’s so magnificent about Popeyes. I had all the sandwiches twice; the first time they were all as they came and then the second time I had plain so I could taste the chicken for what it was and nothing was more seasoned than chick-fil-a. The rest were sub par.

Nick, my burger king location has very thick slabs of a chicken cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sauce and seasoning, and they always make it fresh for you

imagine a restaurant only taking cash so you drive 45 minutes to another one instead of just going to an ATM

The fact Popeyes didn’t say “hey we are only accepting cash” or have a sign up “saying cash only” before you order is just strange.

Exactly. Someone that doesn’t do the spicy’s really doesn’t get an opinion. Spicy is already above regular on all of them so not doing spicy means you’re starting at like the 5th place one with the best regular one lol

definitely a good reason for burger joints to not do crispy chicken or have a ton of menu items. more menu items often increases service times as alot of those things (especially specialty, THICK chicken sandwiches) take a LONG time to fry and you cant cheat them like you can by pressing patties

Spicy chicken sandwhiches come with sauce that isnt just spicy but also gives it a very good flavor, you should try that next

Pro tip for chick fil a: get the spicy sandwich and ask for the avacado lime ranch. Delicious and it’s squeezable

As someone who used to work at Chick-fil-A, the crunchiness varies based upon how fresh the coater is. When they put fresh coater in the pan (especially when they changeover from breakfast and the whole pan is fresh), the coating is will be super thin. As they use it, it will clump up and add a lot of texture. So the first sandwiches of the day are usually the worst. That said, Popeyes is still better

No it's not... A henny penny ALWAYS does a better job of cooking CFA sandwiches. Popeyes is always a gamble.

@@cowetascore8476 I will agree that pressure cooking with the Henry penny is super consistent. The variability is in how it is breaded. I've probably had 100s of chickfila sandwiches, and they were all good. I've only had maybe 5 popeyes sandwiches. So while I can't say for sure they're as consistent, I've never had a bad one there either. The difference is that popeyes is more complex, especially without sauces.

Not it is not, not even close, I have had Popeyes so so many times, and their chicken has yet to taste as good as Chick-Fil-A! Period... not even close!

Nick, on the sauce packet there is a notch in the corner, bend the corner and the sauce is EASY to open.

Tbh i love every burger in this vid
