I enjoyed James being on the show, think he'd also be a good mix with Dougie as well for a 3 man show again. Think he's very balanced and fair.

It’s ok if you want to do that on fan channels, but when people are paying Sky Sports subscriptions to listen to that nonsense, they have a right to complain. West Ham fan here. Kudus is an A* signing. Utter class. Refs are a bit harsh on him and he picks up a lot of yellows from his first foul but he is absolutely sensational.

Liverpool fan, I think Szobo has to be a B+ to A-. It's easy to look out output compared to Germany, where he was a winger half the time and one of Leipzig's main men. However, he's been dropped back and has been really necessary for our style of play. His ball progression is precisely what a Klopp system needs and his long shots and set piece delivery offer something we've needed without Trent. He hasn't been our star man, but that's okay. We have 4 generational players and he is currently just a very good cog in a system topping the premier league. The flak he got has been rescinded since he's been injured, his confidence on the ball is vital for us and everyone seems to really want him back.

Spot on. They haven’t caught many Szoboszlai and Liverpool games , it looks like. He’s worked deep in midfield and facilities for Trent and Salah. Still done a fantastic job offensively too- those first two months were a movie

It’s much different to compare Moises to any of their other signings. Moises is the lone Dm in a double pivot while his double pivot partner has the tendency to get forward leaving him vulnerable. Moises is not Kante, maybe he should be with the fee but to expect him to fully run the midfield almost by himself defensively is unfair. He’s been more than fine.

That comment on John McGinn's form lately made me think back to when he was linked with united. People laughed at that rumout, but in retrospect that would have been a great floor-raising signing - a tidy, two-way midfielder with a great personality & calmness in the centre of the pitch. Shame we never made that deal happen. It's the kind of signing united should have been making, giving us a stable platform for making the superstar signings actually work.

As a Liverpool fan whilst Szoboszlai has the higher ceiling I honestly think £35m for MacAllister, with his incredible ballcretention, passing, composure, energy and ability to play different roles depending on the setup makes him pretty easily our best signing this season.

Imo Moises is good signing and will become even better with time and everyone who really watches the games know that. I started watching FD in a weird point in my life (Leaving school and progressing to higher education) So I've seen the show progress. I will say if FD was a football team they be prime barca, the talent, names, and knowledge of the people who have come through is insane, but they've all graduated even the behind the scenes lot have left. Since sky acquired FD it hasn't been the same and it started with hamils last few months on FD, they haven't found the correct replacements and sky has sucked the soul out of it

Might've been Zealand that James was talking about as the "used to do Football Manager" but now does deep dives on clubs, he had a video on the financial mess at Chelsea. I'm sure there's other content creators out there too that have done similar, so might not be him. But to anyone that doesn't know how bad it is at Chelsea the gist is that they need to make £90m every single season for the next 5 seasons just to cover the transfer fees they've already committed to with their amortisation of fees, that £90m becomes £135m if they qualify for Europe as UEFA has stricter regulations, which is why if they had won the Carabao Cup they might've had to forfeit their European place as the Conference League only awards £3m for qualifying for it, meaning they'd actually be £42m worse off than if they hadn't won it. If it wasn't Chelsea it would be pretty bad to read, but as it is Chelsea, it's hilarious.

Everyone has the right to their opinion and while Caicedo still isn’t perfect, he has been far better this half of the season than when we started the season. I think his rating is actually extremely unfair. Love y’all and your hard work, but the one thing I’d say is I don’t think y’all have been watching Chelsea recently enough based on the poor analysis on Caicedo in recent times. Yes he was never worth that money at all I agree, but he can’t help the fact Liverpool and Chelsea were willing to pay that. It was overkill, but he has been extremely solid for us recently. He is young and still sometimes lacks discipline, while being in an inexperienced and young squad, but that’s not his fault. He has been in the top 5 or 6 for me recently in terms of strength in performances. Gallagher Gusto Petrovic Palmer Caicedo Enzo All solid or great for us recently.

The narrative on Caicedo is just… brain melting. Ask basically any Chelsea fan what they think of him and you’ll get glowing praise and admiration. He’s not put a single foot since November really. He’s putting up nearly 4 tackles and interceptions per 90 which is pretty good for a supposed flop, whilst his passing numbers on FBRef are mostly in the green too (the 2 things his role actually hinges on him being able to do). He’s been consistently overexposed in our system and still looks like one of our best players. He’s been our best player this season bar palmer and gusto. I can guarantee if we were winning and he was putting in the exact same performances people would be singing his praises weekly. He’s the biggest victim of our current position at the club by a distance. Like a DM is at fault for our manager being terrible and our attackers not finishing chances. He deserves more

Generally no idea what people watch with Caicedo, in many games, he's been having to do the defensive work of Enzo's and Gallagher as well as his own. He could end up as good as Rodri and still would not justify the price, thats just the thing with that position but since November, in a terrible side, a tactically inapt manager and system, he hasn't dropped below 7.5/10 rating. Been far better than both Enzo and Gallagher, only better players have been Gusto and Palmer. He had 3-4 shaky games after no pre season and a cray transfer saga and people have acted like his performances have remained the same. Comparing Caicedo to Rice per90: Caicedo has same passes, better completion %, more tackles, similar interceptions, more blocks, similar aerials won.......in a much less settled and talented side. Yes Chelsea have to defend more but Rice is also playing further forward and so attacking numbers are higher.

Starting to get fed up with the caicedo narrative. The money was crazy and he should be marked down for that but the system around him stinks and he’s doing the work of two players most of the time. He’s isolated and left to build up play from the back by himself at times. Most people who just watch the highlights only see the mistakes and not the great work he’s doing at timea
