I think the best way to be sustainable as a customer is to reduce your own consumption. If we collectively made that decision, that's far better than expecting these brands to change their ways because realistically it's not gonna happen and they'll just feed us more greenwashed bs

Yes! That's always what I stress first too but given the way the fast fashion industry continues to grow, a systemic change is needed from all aspects!!

I have a potential video question: I buy my clothes secondhand just because I love a good thrifting haul, but when I go to purge my closet for donations I always get that ick about donating to someone that would ultimately not wear it or throw it away. What’s your take on how we can up cycle within our homes for the things we’ve already purchased to stay in that sort of minimalistic lifestyle? 🤨 something I think about in my own home often, I’d love to hear your perspective more!

Omg can relate to this!! I think it's tough with the way the secondhand industry is progressing but ultimately if our friends and family don't want our clothes via swaps, I think the best thing to do is donate to a local women's shelter or the thrift and trusting that the next person that thrifts it will love it! x

Ya it’s insane!! Makes sense based on how much they’re producing and how much they’ll have left that needs to be marked down to be sold! I think their overall quality has declined too
