It's literally hard to imagine a kind of world where ethical conduct is fading, it's seems like positive things such love towards other people is not that crucial in today's world.

Even with ethics and morals we are still living in chaos, we can’t be doing that well.

Is this suggesting that we have ethics, now? If so, why has it failed? Do only some people have ethics, if so, wouldn't it be ethical for the ethical people to stop the unethical people "by whatever means necessary," so that we may achieve an ethical world, to save the hordes of people (re: the ends justify the means?) Is it possible that ethics and/or ideologies have gotten us to this place?

James Cooper ethics don’t fail because ethics never completely align with each other. There is a capacity at which humans can be grouped together and work along one another competently and ethically. Society itself is an extension of that capacity, through rules, traditions, laws, the economy, etc, we force the capacity higher. But societies themselves don’t all share the same ethics values, and the cultures within those societies don’t share the same ethics or interests. It isn’t that ethics have failed us, it’s that having a uniform moral code is impossible within large complex societies

It would have been more profound if there was at least more ethnic diversity answering the question. I agreed with them all but felt kinda slighted again. As if my opinion about ethics as a black man in this world doesn't matter or may be assumed that I don't care about ethics. Without ethics, a moral personal governor of our conscious decisions, there remains utter chaos and destruction of humanity and this world. One lady said, we're already there and without ethics it gets much worse.

Donald Trump is the most selfish, narcissistic, whining, 3 year old acting adult that lucked his way into American politics! Biden ain't no angel either but check the actions of the men side by side categorically. One was destined for an orange jumpsuit by the seeds he sowed through life. Trump will not get away with mocking God. No one will. That's why we all should have ethics and care about each other genuinely and stay in our lane.

Not sure I agree murder and multiple sexual partners are in the same ethical dilemma boat.... probably not the safest option to have an affair with that guy 😬

We live in a society without ethics. Why do you think we accept what Israel has been doing in Palestine for the last 60 years? Or what the US is financing to be done in Yemen? Or what USA and Britain have done in Iraq, Afpak, etc...? Why so few have soooo much money while the vast majority struggles to survive? If that is not a society without Ethics, then I don't know what is.

I looked up to Trump years ago- in the early 80's I was into commercial real-estate and Trump was our hero. Read Art of the Deal at this time. Trump wants to do the best for this country and all Americans. He is captivating and the real deal! Now I realize what it must have been like for those Germans to follow Hitler! (JOKE JOKE JOKE). If you don't see it this way, you are either blind or extremely jealous.
