Fun Fact: Reiko was actually meant to be a reincarnated/in disguise Shao Khan who would rise to power once again after the fall of Shinnok. It was revealed to be so years later in an AMA with the devs. Of course this was changed to make him a lame bitch who just wears Khan's helmet and gets schooled over and over. Wasted plotential.

In Mortal Kombat Deception, he gives it to Shujinko…..😑 *shook my head * What was the point of Raiden giving the staff to Kai if there was nothing left from him and gave it to Shujinko? Even in Armageddon, Kai’s ending makes no sense and his story is truly weak. He is the one character that has huge potential for being the best, but the game cares less about him. 😓

even if it was that, it would be illogical. why would Kitana just turn and leave Edenia, considering she's the princess, especially right as it was rebuilding? would she really leave Queen Sindel to do that alone, just to pursue her passion? Kitana isn't just a princess in the sense of standing around looking pretty, she's a stateswoman and a lady of war. that's why she offers to bring Liu Kang to Edenia, not the other way around. and i'm sure Liu Kang knew this too.

The funniest thing about scorpion and sub zero ending is the fact that when quan chi suprises them hes not teleporting into the rooms or anything hes just standing there waiting for his cue.

Funny thing is that recently, John Tobias revealed that he had a script written for MK5 way back then. Lui Kang was supposed to be killed by someone and his son is supposed to learn about him. So during the events of MK 3 and 4, Lui Kang and Kitana actually did it at least once which makes his MK4 ending a lot funnier.

Despite the lame cgi, Liu Kang's ending would actually be really interesting. Since, becoming King of Edenia, he would have to give his title of champion to a new fighter (protagonist) moving the story forward. Too bad they didn't follow that canon

I have been watching your videos for years now, Max... This is quite possibly my favorite video you guys have ever done. I've seen it dozens of times since you first posted it and it still makes me laugh just as hard when I watch it now.

Can I just say max, that you pumping out uploads has made my shitty week so much better. Your videos of you and your buds having a good time laughing and playing old MK games has made me so happy! You guys are awesome keep it up.

in injustice 2 raidens intro against another raiden, one of them says " in my world, lui kang and kitana rule edenia" and the other says " in mine, they govern the netherrealm" so i think technically, in one timeline lui kang actually accepted kitana's offer from MK4. i'm starting to think every MK game is its own timeline but follows whatever endings the developers chose to be canon in the next game, this explains why every MK game the characters look completely different in design. this also explains why the MK9 timeline was different in terms of kitana and mileena's history since they were sisters for thousands of years in the original timeline but mk9's mileena was created in the events of MK2. so original raiden sent his message not just back in time but to a separate universe. maybe this is why kronika is upset at raiden cause he changed her universes timeline. just my theory.
