I love watching your channel because I just started working as an electricians apprentice about 5 months ago and I am amassing an arsenal of hand tools and your videos give me great and honest opinions about the tools that I am interested in buying.. I like Klein but I love SouthWires screwdrivers.. Of course I have the Klein 9in1, 10in1, 11in1, and the 6in1 extended, and some other odd drivers but I love using my SouthWire 12in1 and SouthWire rathceting 9in1 screwdriver.. I also like the Lenox brand from lowes, I only have their 6in1 nut driver and 2 insulated drivers but its top quality in my opinion.. I want to buy the klein 8in1 insulated screwdriver but I might just buy the wiha insulated set of 15 i think.. I dont know if it is worth it for me to buy a whole set of wihas or not.. I love doing electrical work so I think I should buy them.. Thanks for making these videos, they help me alot..

Klein have some great tools 🧰, , but don’t become blindsided and and only purchase your tools from Klein. There are a lot of great tool companies out there foreign and domestic. Whatever you do try not to purchase CHEAP TOOLS 🧰 because it’s a waste of money 💰 and you’ll find yourself spending more money 💰 trying to replace the cheap tools. Good luck 🍀 with your electrician career if you follow all the correct information and learn all you can there won’t be any regrets.

They have another model for that ideal were the nut wrench is ratcheting. I swear by that thing. Been using it for around 10 years. Absolutely helps with hand fatigue and cramping when working with wire nuts all day. I have 2. One in my comercial box and 1 in my bucket. I keep that same milwaukee u have in the video, in my service bag specifically because it helps me keep that bag lite since the bits work in my drill and it has electrician features (wire looper and stripper) built in. Electrician IBEW 20 years. Keep.up the videos. Another strange thing I noticed we have in common is I bought that same ecx multi bit for my ideal driver along with the robertson square bit. I load them as needed

Thanks bigojac4 for stopping by, I have tons of admiration for the IBEW(True Electrical Craftsmen ) you should be honored to be a member. Also thank you for the compliment I’m glad you found my video(s) interesting. But you’re right it’s nice to have a tool(s) that help with fatigue. That’s why whenever I purchase tools I look for dependability and comfortably. I’ve been doing this for so long that fatigue also sets in. It’s a pleasure to know we have something in common (ecx multi bit ) GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and your family, you’re welcome to come back anytime.

Is that combi bit you put in the channellock the one made by Klein? I ordered the double sided Klein Combi bit and neither of the sides seems to be the right fit for normal 15/20 amp recepticles. I ended up buying Ideal's comination screwdriver and its been treating me well. Do you know of any other brands that sell that particular bit/driver?

I hate the ideal and channel lock style of but storage. The reason the wiha bit holder is so bending is to assist you getting you bits out. And that’s a wiha/ xiaomi tools joint venture. It’s not made by wiha it’s name by xiaomi tools in china and they’ve gotten approval from wiha (as wiha liked their design) to make the handle is the shape of a which and use the logo. I think wiha engineers made some improvements as after the wiha version hit the same company made a 16-in-1 and told me it was an improvement to their original 8-in-1 (non wiha approved model. In my opinions the best ratcheting screw drivers are the klein 32305 (different model then in this video) and the rolgear. The milwaukee is a good cheap option, used them for years. And the wera ones are ok. I have the pistol grip ratcheting and it’s….I think wera is such an overrated brand. I regret most of my wera purchases but never my wiha or knipex or nws. So it’s not a biased American tools thing, I’m German and I don’t like wera. Off top I know but talking ratcheting screwdrivers…for 70dollars, for the wera….forget that the Klein and rolgear are around 30-40 dollars. Best high end ratcheting drivers

I agree with most of what you said , but my favorite out of them displayed in the review is the IDEAL. Look at the shaft of all the screwdrivers they’re all made by the same manufacturer. The only difference is the handle and my second choice would be KLEIN. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

No WW, I don’t own any but I used one before. It feel really large and heavy, I was able to work with it but I really didn’t like the feel of it. Just for the record most all ratcheting screwdrivers are the same build in some cases the only difference is the handle. Take a look at the metal ratcheting shaft part of the tool they’re all the same. In some cases only the color or the handle makes the difference.
