And Qwark actually said it before Nefarious. In the first ratchet and Clank when Qwark was evil there was a mission in space when you fight all these mini spaceships beat them. Then Qwark comes in his spaceship and says "Fine I'll do it myself"

not ratchet related, but in borderlands presequel, when you beat enemies in the cortex, if you kill enemies, shadowtrap shows up and says "fine, ill do it myself" i guess we can archive every ill do it myself quote from anything and compile it somewhere, idk

I love this boss fight. The music is friggin out of this world and creates a great atmosphere with the battle itself, which escalates from "meh, I got this" into "shitshitshitshitshitshit" the closer you get to the end.

Me and i just wanted to play all ratchet and clanks again and he is hard then the other 2 bosses and dont talk about the last boss of ratchet and clank 1 owww i was only laughing that boss was just to easy xD

Apen Ap I just finished the HD remake of the first 3 Ratchet and Clanks, and i had A LOT more trouble with the last boss of the first game, than i had with this guy. At the last boss in first game i died several times before figuring out how to do, however Nefarious was ez pz first try. I didn't have any trouble with the last boss of second game either, so last boss in Ratchet and Clank 1 is actually the hardest boss i've encountered during the first 3 games.

When you look at this boss, the level, and the music, you realize something. Insomniac wanted a boss that would make you sweat.

It took me years to beat this fucker. One of the best moments of my life.

BELIEVE IT TOASTER HEAD! Gets me everytime

I remember being a kid, and trying and failing over and over again, until I finally beat Nefarious. Then the how Bio-Blitorator transformation scene happened, then Qwark came out of nowhere, and while that was all happening, I was yelling "LET'S FUCKING GO". God, the memories.

"YOOOU'LL REGRET- uh oh." "Lawrence! ... Lawrence? ... LAAAAAWREEEEEEEENCE!" That scene is just straight up funny. XD

I have played many games, but I fell like THIS is my childhood game. I love this boss! Completed the game over 5 times. This game had a special feeling

"SUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! M'HHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!" I love it xD

At 4:40 is the only time those shit useless troopers did anything in the whole game

Actually, I swear that Going Commando had come with my bundle, along with 3 others. Awesome memories, though. :)

Kids, this is what proper boss battles looked like back in my day.

This brings back so many memories. Defeating him was the best feeling ever!

This was the best boss battle in the entire series. The way the music builds, the several stages in the battle, the fact that you are are exploring a new part of the level in a robot graveyard it seems (ironic) while dodging Dr. Nefarious as he moves and not to mention the inclusion of Quark, in his least cowardly act any of the games to date, in a final hovership stage. This is what a final boss is supposed to be like. Fighting him again in a Crack in Time was also good, but this was the best.

Looking back at the Biobliterator & after playing Rift Apart, I could tell that Emperor Nefarious' armor & entire empire's color scheme is an homage to this machine. This was Doctor Nefarious vision that he wanted had he been successful, & the Emperor was what it could've been afterwards.

"That's right nefarious, your reign of terror if finally- SUUCCKKEEEEEEEEERRSSS!!!'

Man, good thing qwark kept that pesky dropship off of you during the last boss battle, he was a real help after all.

He had a silly personality but BOY could he fight! I thought Lawrence was going to be the final boss first time I played.

I didn't, but that would have been cool. Maybe he could have been the first part if the battle before Nefarious popped up.

I finished this game 13 times when I was a kid, no joke that's how much I loved it.

I think that this is the hardest R&C Boss value there is considering you have to go through a boss PLANET, and then a 3 OR 4 STAGE BOSSFIGHT omg. Beautiful tho ouo

*The funny thing about the voicemail is that Lawrence most likely did it to joke with Nefarious I mean it’s perfectly timed after “ANNIHILATE HIM!!!!” Meaning he’s been yelled this more than once and decided to prank Nefarious whenever possible!!!!*

Dr. Nefarious kicked me 23 time's he is insanely a hard boss battle.

The one time quark was actually useful

Back when Nefarious was a badass on top of being funny.

***** but the shield only takes a couple of hits from them, and in normal mode it has barely any ammo, it gets better in challenge mode, but still, annoying

***** The ARCTIC LEVIATHANS as they are actually called, don't respawn at all, they are there only for the purpose of having to battle them for the moonstone they contain, they are really tough opponents, it seems like the rocket launcher does basically no damage

***** In the early games, I'd never grind to gather up the bolts for the ryno, so I'd end up getting it in challenge mode, it's much better now since you get it for free after finding the holoplan, I loved the Holocards in the new game, it was like a trip down memory lane seeing characters and weapons from past games, it was awesome

I did, too. But, I was satisfied when I killed them with the RYNO 2.

I loved the rangers coming in to assist you with taking out the ground troops

Always tried to keep the troopers alive

The bouncer is just ridiculously powerful

I never played the first two games of the trilogy, but I would've enjoyed using that weapon then.

This may have already been said, but just for anyone interested: The homing missiles the Biobliterator fires come at you 3 times: From the front, from behind, and from the front again. You can dodge most of them by strafing one way as it comes from the front, strafing the opposite direction on the rear volley, and returning to your initial direction for the second front. A simple left-right-left or vice versa will keep you mostly safe.

Oh hell no... there's no way I'm going to do all that with basic armor lol. I'll just live vicariously through this video!

There is endless things I love about this series but if I had to pick one thing that was better than everything else it would be the terminology. This whole series has always had the best terminology.

Abysmal Gaming Yep what a pussy Dr Nefarious his never had any respect for him

Once you have beaten the last boss you can choose to start a new game (in challenge mode) or you can return to the point just before the final boss therefore allowing you to explore any of the planets you have already visited

The Ratchet & Clank wiki says that Angela Cross is at the Secret Agent Clank premiere, wearing her thief disguise. But I cannot find her no matter how many times I rewatch this cutscene. Anyone see her in the crowd?

No one going to even mention how huge the Biobliterator is?

Yeah he was actually a really powerful boss surprisingly.

At first glance at the thumbnail I thought the video would be "THINK, LAWRENCE, THINK"

If you pay attention in the theater you can see characters from the first game and Going Comando!

I love Ratchet's Angry Growl when he was tricked of thinking Nefarious was defeated.

I never noticed until just now that the headstock on Lawrence's bass guitar is a Dime headstock. Hellyeah! \m/
