I love the fact that the final boss is more than half the video. I always found it interesting how earlier games had less and less bosses, and then the final boss would be something really incredible. This video is 16 minutes. The Crack in Time bosses video was almost an hour long. This game only had four, as it shows, but Drek was an incredible multi-stage battle that put all of your skills to the test and had you run all across your own home world just to chase after him as he attempts to destroy it simultaneously...

The dramatic lighting in this game was so perfect it's unreal.

Blowing up Drek’s new planet along with killing Drek at the end is the most satisfying part in the series in my opinion

The lighting in this game was so good for something made in 2002, seriously; amazing work by whoever did the lighting.

In my opinion, this will always be the best Ratchet & Clank game.

Man the part where ratchet starts walking away from clank making think that clank was just being used as a weapon and when he was broken clank felt that ratchet abandoned him just because he was injured and walking away sadly, until ratchet calls on for him as : hey I don't care if you are a broken bot, your my friend... Making clank kinda "cry" for knowing he meant more than a weapon to ratchet as if they were brothers and nothing would tear them apart...

I never knew Ratchet was a little cold back then compared to now. How he responded to Clank when they find out Qwark's plan was a little mean. Then again, I've only played the 2016 version, and I have to say: both are completely different. I wish the boss battles from the first game were included into the recent game. In fact, I wish the recent game included more throwback stuff like allowing us to play with every RYNO from all games instead of showcasing them in cards or in the secret warehouse.

In the original game Ratchet was pretty selfish and crude but as the game goes on he slowly morphs into a hero. Also there's some missing context. In the cutscene before the Snagglebeast boss fight, Qwark sets up a trap for them and while Ratchet is kind of skeptical about it, Clank falls for the trap and almost gets them killed. At that point in time Ratchet and Clank weren't good friends yet. Their relationship develops throughout the story.

The sounds those Blarg monsters make still freak me out today. That big one could have been easily be a boss fight for a horror game, but it was the first boss fight for a colorful, cartoon style game.

I love Ratchet And Clank!!!

Drek is an amazing boss but he's one of the hardest final bosses I've ever faced.

For me not at all. I was mostly scared by the Alien Queen. You know, seeing such a monster on four feet in green with that eyes, that was a real debunk for the world as a kid :D

fighting the first boss with just a wrench is fun. the mutant frogs are easy if you heard them and jump away after each wrench swing.

+CommentatorDeluxe In Rilgar City, with a glitch you can access the race without your board. There you go down the biggest amount of boxes and then you use the weapon that makes sound. If you let yourself there like three/five hours you'll probably have a lot of money because of the glitch

+ProsafiaGaming Cause I I found a few *illogical* things with your gameplay: 1. Your number of bolts is unreal. The biggest I ever had was 800,000 (With a glitch exploit used for 20 minutes). 2. Unreal weapons: I know, you are playing in challenge mode, but you used some post boss weapons (at least you didn't use the R.Y.N.O.)

+Sam Martineau-Thérien I think he's been playing this game for a good while. Once you've played the games enough times, then you'll get that amount of bolts. (I had over 10 million bolts on my Ratchet and Clank 2 save file, and I have been playing for months)

It’s not that he’s super difficult, he really isn’t. It’s that his fight is extremely long and really doesn’t let up. It’s a giant battle of attrition Think about it, without the RYNO you’re gonna be fighting this guy for a solid 10-15 minutes. If you didn’t buy the final health upgrade he only needs to hit you four or five times throughout the entire fight.

Also I learned a trick but use the Tesla claw and gold blaster only or use a weapon with a lot of ammo so you save your ammo for the end then from ammo crates you only get that kind of ammo

Also don't just use the devestator there are other weapons it's easier to beat him if you variy your weapons also don't get caught up in changing your weapon or buying ammo that will result in taking damage
