It's not that good as depicted in the movie. I know better dishes that can be done with these same ingredients & tastes lot better.as for example , in India there is a very famous dish called " bengan ka bharta" which includes same ingredients but tastes awesome.

I struggle sometimes as well but I find it easier to break it apart by hand after cutting down the middle and making it into rings then pile them up and just go ham with the knife. It's fast and dices them perfectly every time and it's pretty fun.

So it's an onion garlic tomato sauce with soggy tomatoes and eggplant? You vegans sure like to party. It looks really tasty, and piquant! Cheese is an optional condiment in this case for decoration. 1년 좀 된 영상이지만 이 영상을 보고 댓글을 보실분들께 이 말은 꼭 해보고싶네요 라따뚜이는 (영화에서 나온건 좀 고급진 방식이지만) 주로 프랑스 시골의 집안형편이 어려운곳에서 주로 해먹던 *채소* 요리입니다 고기가 들어갈 가능성은 적어요 그래서 영화 라따뚜이에서 저 요리를 내오자 비웃는겁니다 우리나라로 치면 대충 최고급 레스토랑에서 조금 고급지게 끓인(?) 된장찌개나 김치찌개같은거 내오는격이니까요 다만 영화 속 평론가가 라따뚜이를 매우 맛있게 먹은것은 요리실력+어릴때의 추억때문일거고요 ...그냥 그렇다고요 그건 그렇고 이 채널 구독해야겠구요, 이 덧글을 쓰는 시점이 크리스마스까지 2일남았을때니.. *모두들 행복한 크리스마스 보내세요!*

오~쫒겨난 전주방장이 왜 비웃나했더니... 음식 자체에 스토리 있을줄은 몰랐네요. 너무재밌게본영환데 그런거까지 신경썼을줄은 몰랐.

Yeah they are crazy if you eat vegetables can eat a lot and don't have really big problems, all the people are doing a big deal because this haven't meat

@@piloncillo09 maybe better english, but as a mainly meat eater, i really dont mind if a dish is just vegetables. Mostly im Indonesian and after knowing 1/2th of the stuff i eat is literally just vegetables, i still eat them, mainly because theres not much option other than my worse enemy, fish

I loooove making this dish, the best tasting vegetables you'll ever have! I also make a rue on the bottom layer swirled into the tomato sauce, and I add sliced russet and purple potatoes. Beautiful video!
