Dengarkanlah dengan saksama kata-kata yang Saya sabdakan. 2) Duhai para makhluk, perhatikanlah. Tunjukkanlah cinta kasihmu kepada umat manusia yang mempersembahkan sesajian kepadamu siang dan malam. Karenanya, lindungilah mereka dengan tekun. 3) Harta apa pun juga yang terdapat di sini atau di alam lain; Atau permata tak ternilai apa pun juga di alam surga. Tiada yang menyamai Sang Tathagata. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sang Buddha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 4) Sang Bijaksana Sakyamuni menemukan lenyapnya dukkha, terlepasnya keinginan, pembebasan dari kematian, yang luhur; Tiada apa pun yang dapat menyamai keagungannya. Sesungguhnya, dalam Dhamma terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 5) Kesucian yang dipuja oleh Sang Buddha, dinamakan samadhi dengan hasil segera --- tiada satu pun yang dapat menyamai tingkat samadhi ini. Sesungguhnya, dalam Dhamma terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 6) Delapan orang yang dipuja oleh sang Budiman, Keempat pasangan ini adalah pengikut yang pantas mendapatkan pahala dari Sang Buddha --- Pahala yang berbuah berkah berlimpah. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 7) Dengan tekad teguh mereka melaksanakan ajaran Gautama, tiada nafsu, mereka menuai hasilnya; terbebaskan dari kematian, mereka menikmati kedamaian abadi. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 8) Bagai tertanam kokoh di dalam tanah, tak tergoyahkan oleh angin dari empat penjuru; demikianlah orang bijaksana; Saya namakan, orang bijaksana yang telah memahami Kesunyataan Mulia. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 9) Mereka yang telah memahami Kesunyataan Mulia yang dibabarkan dengan jelas olehNya dengan kebijaksanaan hakiki. Sekalipun mereka lalai, mereka tidak akan terlahir di delapan alam utama. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 10) Seseorang yang telah memahami Pandangan Benar, tiga belenggu terlepaskan serentak, --- Sakkya-ditthi (keyakinan adanya diri yang kekal), Vicikiccha (keragu-raguan) dan Silabbataparamassa (percaya pada takhyul) ---. Terbebaskan dari empat alam menyedihkan. Ia tak dapat melakukan enam kejahatan berat. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 11) Walaupun Ia bisa melakukan beberapa kesalahan dengan perbuatan, perkataan dan pikiran, Ia tak dapat menyembunyikannya; Adalah keniscayaan bagi seseorang yang telah memahami jalan mulia. Sesungguhnya, dalam Sangha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 12) Bagaikan hutan belukar bermekaran bunga pada awal musim panas, demikian agunglah Dhamma menuju Nibbana yang Ia ajarkan, suatu kebajikan sejati. Sesungguhnya, dalam Buddha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 13) Ia, Yang Maha Agung, Maha Tahu, Maha Pemberi, Pembawa Keagungan, yang mengajarkan Keagungan Dhamma. Sesungguhnya, dalam Buddha terdapat permata tak ternilai ini. Demi kebenaran ini, semoga semua mahluk berbahagia. 14) Karma mereka sirna, tiada muncul karma baru, pikiran mereka telah terbebaskan dari kelahiran kembali, benih-benih lampau dimusnahkan. وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped وَاتَّبِعُوا أَحْسَنَ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ العَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ "And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the Penalty comes on you - of a sudden while ye perceive not أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَى علَى مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ "Lest the soul should (then) say: 'Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous Quran .islam
