Something about the composition of these tracks almost gives them a similar "funky" feel to something you might hear out of Jet Set Radio (Minus the vocal sampling/mixing focus, of course), and I am all here for it. Banger after banger on this one.

Everything in this album has insane quality, production its crispy, bass sounded from underneat earth itself, composition and samples are on point, i feel some cassiopea references(traffic jam/home bass), some alfa mist too (Rise an shine), dnb and jungle beat (rush hour) and more. Dude the variety of styles and sounds is crazy. For being an album about a rat cabbie, i sure want to be in this ride listening to all his rat taxi stories. thanks for the great music :^D

That's how you sell an album. Two word title, the album cover is said title. I saw Rat Taxi, I read "Rat Taxi" I click on Rat Taxi. I really enjoyed my time with this music, Favourite tracks were Rise & Shine, Home Bass, and Recess really surprised me, it took a while to get into it but it grew into something so much more as it went on, keyboards gave me streets of rage vibes which is NEVER a bad thing. I clicked on a whim and will be listening to this one again.

15 seconds in, fucking KILLER Louie!!! You gotta have one of the best hit rates of "Hey guess what it's a banger and you know it immediately" out of any artist I've ever listened to.

dumpster disco is my absolute favorite, theres just something abt it that tickles my brain so good i can listen to it 9 times non stop without it getting repetitive (also i find it ironic how traffic jam seems to be at a faster bpm than rush hour, when yknow, traffic jams are so goddamn slow and tedious)

Turns out Louie Zong is what I was missing in my life 🕺

This is one of the biggest bops that you've ever dropped Louie, every track has a perfect vibe and those chord changes (OH my goodness). Plus the collaboration with Dante NK was just amazing!

I clicked because the whole aesthetic captivated me and I didn't know what to expect music-wise, but 3 seconds into the album and I must admit if there ever was a rat taxi it would 100% sound like this

Feels like the soundtrack for a Isometric Crazy Taxi but each level is like a Maze that becomes more complex. So not only do you need to get people to where they need to be but you'd also need to navigate a Maze. (competitive co-op?) Could add in some roguelite elements to upgrade your taxi or increase your time or get better tips.. (introduce more rat/animal friends that got different gimmicks like mario kart) Someone make it happen!

Look I know it's only 8 days old, but I need more of this.

I've listened to this album like a half dozen times at this point. I don't know how you encapsulate 10 different vibes for "Rat Taxi" and together they become greater than the sum of their parts. Love this album.

This is without a doubt my favorite Louie Zong album (previously it was Funky Friends). I love how the vibes shift a lot, one moment you’re listening to something inspired by Jet Ser Radio, and the next you’re listening to Dumpster Disco’s amazing blend with chiptune elements that sound like it could’ve come from a video game, even a hip-hop esque track which I wasn’t expecting. And yet switching up vibes makes listening through the album refreshing imo. Every song in this does not miss. Louie does not miss.

I can tell this is going to be my favorite album ever. It hits all of my musical interests and does it in a way only louie could, then turns it up to 11 on top of that. It's a masterpiece while also being called Rat taxi and both of those things bring me great joy on this mediocre day.
