I think this must be the DAT recording of the rave. Sounds crisp! They must used to have mastered to DAT and then duplicated onto lots of cassettes for the tape packs.

Amazing memories. I drive a very sensible mercedes out of the carpark of a very sensible corporate IT company in a very sensible suit as a man in his 40s each day - and THEN BLAST THIS OUT MASSIVELY ALONG WITH ALL MY OTHER 1991-1993 HARDCORE MIX TAPES!!!! So honoured to be a part of this culture growing up, I loved people and society back then, such a shame it didn’t last, us ravers danced in the fields from sun down to sun up, we were making a difference, on a selfish level it will always be the most loved thing I ever did, thanks to everyone I raved with back then. I have 4 daughters now and reaching 47 years old but I can still show the girls how to party in the kitchen to proper Music 👌🏻😁💪

Reminds me of being 15/16 and looking about 10 and couldn't get served till I was about 30 lol....The days of getting Pilled up..and weed was called: "Draw"....And people bought a "Teenth" of "Red-Seal-Black-Weed" for £7.50....and it stunk strong and chemically and gave us a bad throat....And 4-Star petrol was cheap....And your local shop would crack open a ten-deck of cigs and sell um for 20p each for a single cig....

Where I lived was the same. It was easier to score than get drunk. My 'guy' lived 5 minutes away from my house and was open 24/7 365, garys, rapid & draw. He would meet us anywhere we wanted within walking distance and tickers were allowed depending on past credit. Back in those days that's how it was pretty much everywhere.

What a night………drove 200 miles each way………10 of us in 3 motors……..had to stop at nearly every services on the way back to get it together……..came out to the car park field frozen over and had to push about 20 cars and vans out so we could get out………Fantazia Crew where are you now 🔥😊👍

27 year old here. This will forever be the best dance music mix of all time… in my opinion. I used to listen to the old tapes my parents had from the 90’s. God damn this music will forever be close to my heart. ‘Drum beats go like this’ @14:30 and @23:30 when it kicks in after if by far the best part!

I was 9. remember walking downstairs wondering why my parents and their friends had saucer eyes, mug of water in hand and doing the same movements. Ha! Alas, when I finally got into the rave scene myself...soon understood. I am 33 now..and live like a nun. went hard too fast!

That is great!! I remember being at friends houses in mid 90’s absolutely smashed and if one of the kids woke up and came down we were all on our best behaviour but I bet we looked battered! Those kids are grown now too obviously and I bet a few have stories very similar to yours!! Lol

Oi Oi love it, I'm a full grown man in my 40s but I gotta say, when awesome 3 don't go broke down and the place erupted I actually cried! Shivers , tears in my eyes and hairs standing on end, the unity, the love, the atmosphere , absolutely amazing and when I look at the angry youth of today all I see is aggression, they couldn't possibly feel that as they want everyone to be "ops" , I love rap, I'm a huge fan of the old East Coast stuff Notorious BIG, an absolute musical genius, but this new stuff, it's a different level, it's actually half decent music but the kids are taking it literally and acting out what they hear and it's destructive. There is a resurgence in the old rave scene but it's nowhere near what it was sadly. Awesome upload though, I'm making excuses to go out in the car so I can bang it!

I was 11! Lived in a little village with the mono-culture that goes with living out in the sticks. So I was the only kid into Rave and Jungle. Everyone else was in to Grundge, the flavour of the moment at that time.
