In honor of the Throt the Unclean's debut in the upcoming The Twisted and The Twilight here's a truescale rat ogre conversion. And yes, I know it's Total War: Warhammer, my way is funnier.

I wouldn’t worry about not matching the in-game models. In the lore each rat ogre is vastly different to the next.
The matte finish is a huge boost to your finished models
The Rat ogres in the games were designed after the Isle of Blood rat ogres. Those miniatures are beautiful, its outrageous they don't sell them anymore.

I only own those ones but I found another brand, Punga Miniatures, that makes really good-looking skaven units, including rat ogres and bonebreakers. (I still didn't try it out, but the previews do have a kind-of games workshop feel. Of course it wouldn't be legal to use them in tournaments, but still better than nothing I guess
I wish you collaborated with a painter or something, these models, especially this one, are just too good to be left in gray.
So you could say this is a R.O.O.U.S.? Rat Ogre of unusual size
You sure do go through a lot of bullgores

@@ducdashot1239 i couldn't imagine buying Bullgors and actually using them for Bullgors 🤭 that depraved lunatic would do sucha thing
Dude you totally have to reach out to someone to get these painted (maybe midwinter minis?) They’re genuinely incredible creations.
Have you ever considered sending your models to another warhammer youtuber to paint? I'd love to see any of them painted to the standard they deserve.
Your conversions are really cool! I’d like to see some of these model conversions painted up
YES! Primer helps so much! I love kitbash, conversion, and scratch building. Really digging the channel. Primer is very helpful for the finish!
recently bought some stormfiends, and was utterly disappointed at how tiny they were. This video was the best inspiration i could have asked for. The wide torso is the greatest tip ever
"peak derp" 100% accurate scientific term
Holy hell you finally gave em a coat of paint. Really makes it look a lot more solid when they're all in one color. Great work!
I'd love to see you do a couple "Skaven for 40k" conversions :D
This looks great, and as someone who has put 8 hours ish into total war warhammer 2 campaign as skaven, rat ogres deserve love on how bad ass they are in game and you gave them it with this kitbash.
The rat ogres i use were from the Island Of Blood box in fantasy and i always thought they were cool, but these are absolutely awesome
Dig the use of the Khador parts. I had some Khador models lying around that I was going back and forth on keeping or selling, and you've convinced me that they should stay in the bits box for sure.
This is extremly lore friendly way to create a rat ogre
This is awesome! I gotta get a set of those little hobby saws, watching you slice straight through the body was an aha moment.
Dude the warpstone on the left arm looked amazing. So did the Gorgan arm. Look at the new rat ogre models
I love kitbashing but haven't been able to since my hands got 👎. You have reignited my passion.
1:11 To be honest, a mixture between a giant frog and a rat ogre is something a master moulder from Nippon would come up with
This is so cool and creative!
Push through the peak derp. Words to live by bro.
I think you’d nail a genestealer cult conversion, great video too (as always)!
I imagine those greenstuffworld resin crystals would also work nicely for embedded warpstone splinters
Amazing praxis exists on this channel.
This is fucking amazing, totally underrated
This is my favorite kit bach you have done so far. Love this so much
Would LOVE to see this bad boy painted
This is really cool. I’ve always really loved the skaven but have never had a army of them as they are a horde army and a waste of time just to paint thousands of guys just to get smashed in games. But I’ve always loved the idea of just having a army of monsters. If you magnetised the drill and used some big barrelled gun. You could run it in a creation of Bile army too.
Miniac: DON'T FORGET TOOO... PAINT ... MORE... MINIIESS!!!
This is the first conversion vid I've ever seen! I really learned alot! you are very skilled!
We gotta see your models painted up! Really helps bring the image you have of your conversions to life!
The rat ogres in the starting pack of higelf and skaven actually look good and well propotioned( Total war ones are inspired by those One), but i love how crude and casual are the actual selled ratogres
You, sir, are doing God's work!
Rat ogres of unreasonable size? I do not believe they exist.
oooh, I'd love to see a kitbash of Skryre Acolytes!!
That's some great improvement over your previous works with greenskins. Excellent job.
Your final product looks excellent, I'm seriously impressed by all the sculpting work. All we need now is an Ubersreik Five to bring the beast down!
Wow! This is sick man! Well done!
It looks crazily good!
"Peak Derp" thank you for your apt labeling of this feeling, I will weather it better now..
This is making me want to dive into my Skaven bits-box! Great Conversion; and can't wait to see more.
Looking forward. Also lets see those 40k rat ogres plz.
These are freaking awesome dude! I'd love to see more like this. Especially I'd love to see a conversion of a Saurus warrior to look like the Total War ones 😍
Great build man, the carved drill bit was a really good idea.
Phrase of the vid "really buff frog"
Doing God's work Kitbosh
they are so good in island of blood kit, you can find it second hand. never understood why GW didnt remake them instead of these
Just as you were about to say it kinda looked like a frog I thought it looked like frog
Good work dude, I’m looking for rat ogre ideas because anything is better than the GW ones.
Can't do anything without the *GREEN STUFF*
Clan Moulder would be pleased
Have you ever considered doing some sort of kitbash with custodes? Personally I'd love to see a pro at this make a centurion armor custodes. Love the work you do. Definitely looking forward to whatever else you decide to make next!
You can actually export the models from the game to 3d-print them. I have seen some tutorials to do that recently

@@user-qg4st8ih1d depends on when the games came out. A *lot* of the skaven models are getting old now afaik.
Amazing! Would love to see a whole squad of theses.
Would love to see more Skaven content and suggest you try to see you make a warlock engineer out of Belisaurius Cawl. It would be a huge Skaven but the pose and aesthetic scream Skaven IMO.
All these kitbashes are great, but would like to see some full paint job down the line...
The drill is a bit
Omg 1:09 had me spit my drink out laughing xD!
The (what I think is) primer makes your models really pop! I think you should keep doing that.
This is super sweet. And yes, of course we want to see more, of all the sizes. Thanks for an awesome vid!
Peak derp. Genius
Looks sick my man
He is so gorgeous, yes-yes
really impressive stuff
Looking good asf boy
I didn't expect to see WH Fantasy content but I'm very happy to see it

I fucking love this
"A few more Rat Ogres of a more reasonable size" ah yes Rodents of Unusual (but reasonable) Size
Nice conversion, although would've loved to see this one painted on the video, also!
I mean blood isle set rat ogres are the original for game versions. But your conversion is super cool.
Very epic.
I absolutely love this & I can't wait to see more Skaven!!!
Id honestly love to paint some of your kitbashes
Nice one i never have idea to use doombull corpse
Id love to see more total warhammer based conversions! This was siiick
I would loooove to see your models painted, i know you said you wouldn't try your hand at that but maybe someone from the Community would be willing to
Ah man your videos are amazing!, Ever think about doing some 40k Skaven?
You should consider buying some Deadzone veer-myn nightmares, they seem perfect for making something like this.
These look amazing mate👌👌👌

@@kitbosh yeah, also you should look at the art work of the Techno Barbarians from the unification wars and try to make some characters based on them. they are so good looking
I would love to see colabs with some youtube painters, and i know im not alone in that. So, leave comments on your favourite painters videos suggesting a collab with kitbosh :)
If you want to make bigger mace ball ( idk how to translate it - i mean this ball with spikes) you could make an aluminium foil ball, cover it with greenstuff and then do the spikes from sprues(also idk if i wrote it correctly).
great job
I find I have to avoid comparing Total War models to the actual GW ones, as the latter often come up very short haha! Also. I sculpt a LOT of fur, would you like a tip for easy fur sculpting? It's a method I came up with that really adds bulk and flow to the model.
@kitbosh

@@kitbosh great! :D Ok, all you need for this is a pair of clippers and a pointy object. What you do is get the greenstuff covered over where you want the fur, smooth it down with a wet implement. Then you go to the bottom of where you want the fur and gently clip, but not so hard that you take anything off. You then keep doing this left/right until you have a line. Then go above this line of drooping fur and do it again in a brick-work fashion. This makes a clump of fur lay over the gap you left in the previous row. Now go left/right again, then move up rinse and repeat (always make sure your clippers remain wet. Keep applying water as necessary). Once you are done, get your sharp object (like a knife). Wet it too. Then use it to gently push the fur in whatever direction you want. This can create the illusion that wind is blowing the fur if you move it left or right. Or if you lift the fur up it makes the model look intimidating or like it is raising its fur like an angry cat. You can change the size of the strands of fur by using different amounts of the clipper length. Using just the tip makes small clumps, and using more of it creates larger ones. Practice it a few times to get the hang of it, and see how it comes out :).

@@tyranitararmaldo Ah, that's really smart. I'll give it a shot next time I have to do fur.
The size of it reminds me of a Mutant Rat Orge
Looks amazing!
Mmmmm, yes-yes! You-you made a rat ogre that actually looks intimidating and cool, and not stupid and cheap. Very good-good job!
I love those conversion vids but im always a bit disapointed that no one is painting he minis at the end :(
This was dope
I'm always surprised when you use those this PVC sheets. Like, where do you get them and what are they even made for? Also, you sculpting on this project looks really good, you've improved a lot!

Thanks! And I just get them off Amazon. No idea what they're originally for.
The old warhammer fantasy box set blood island has some better sculptured rat ogres then the ones on the website, they might make a good base for your conversions, however they may be quite hard to find
"Peak derp" love it
SKaven were my first army allways loved rat ogres
Would be interesting to see you do some 40K skaven conversions
