My uncle always call “Yekini” cuz I was born on this same day the match was played. Funny enough this is my first time watching Yekini’s video. A true legend he’s ❤️❤️❤️

The greatest team Nigeria has ever produced. It's unfortunate that the Country has not been able to produce such team since thereafter. I remember the golden era with sense of nostalgia.

Ivory Coast will never forget you Yekini. I was a child when I watched your goals at TV in 1994. You were so mysterious . You were the Monster of African Football.. Love you Yekini..

The way this legend actually lived life in Nigeria was miserable. African governments are ungrateful; he was mentally affected but nobody cared. He felt so abandoned and finally died at the age of 42.

historical match I still remember. greeting from Egypt to our both brother's countries.

What a great memory when Nigeria Footballers stand as a team without sentiment or corruption. Rasheed Yekini always ring on my memory my best player so far 9 the loveable jersey. May God forgive you and reward you with great job you sacrifice for your beloved country Nigeria

Actually...I beg to differ...the new super eagles squad is actually pretty good with ball control and playmaking. They kinda have some stability now and it's evident since in during Keshi's time when we won AFCON, but got a lot better on Rohr

I don't really know the true strength of that squad, so I can't really say whether they could or not. Was it the squad that won olympic gold in football?..... And as for this squad, I really believe they are pretty good and they seem to be better in the ball overall IMO
