    In today's world of football and player market value....Yekini would have been worth 150m his finishing is just sublime,energy,pace, aggression and clinical finishing...with thunderous shooting ability with both left and right foot.... absolutely LEGEND..... REST IN POWER Goat🐐😢

    Unfortunately the modern game has very few out and out strikers....think of the strikers in Yekini's era - strikers like Batistuta, Zamorano, Titi Camara, Alan Shearer... Maybe Haaland and a handful of others are The closest to that ...

    It used to be a delight to watch Nigeria play. Then, no matter the opposition, it wasn't a question of whether Nigeria would win. It was a question of by how many goals!

    Rashidi was class, prolific striker 💯. I think we dont praise some of our super stars enough. Oliseh is a top class midfielder, can anyone noticed his long range passes

    Rashidi Yekini never missed a penalty. Gangling Dangling Yekini, a natural predator ❤❤❤❤❤. RIP Legend. Other players were exceptional too. Amokachi, Amuneke, Finidi, Oliseh, Okocha, Ben Iroha, Mutiu Adepoju Siasia, Yisa Shofoluwe, Okechukwu, etc. What a collection of talents

    The ironic thing is that he hadn't play a single match all through the AFCON and had given up hope of playing until Westerhof told him he was starting the final. Just imagine the turnaround...1,000,000% return on faith invested.

    Rufai the basket. Despite the blunders at the 1994 AFCON, Nigeria still carried him to the 1998 World Cup, where his errors were finally exposed. With a better goalkeeper, Nigeria would have excelled at both 1994 and 1998 World cups.

    Though Rufai made some errors in Tunisia 94, he played much better at USA 94 and he wasn't at fault for any of the goals Italy scored us. But I do agree that he was way past his best at France 1998.

    All this players are great players.... But who noticed they all look too big wearing the jersey.. They have muscles and bigger tigh.. Example "Amokachi" Except for few ones like OKOCHA, amuneke who had small statures

    If not for the Sani Abacha nonsense and drama, this Nigerian team would have won the 1996 AFCON, and the 1998 AFCON. They would have done a tripple like Egypt did in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
