This is why I like basketball players talking basketball. The more I hear you all talk the more it sounds like working in corporate America. Yeah go ahead and outshine your coworkers. They will start hating and put you on an island. If the manager feels like you are not with his program(bowing down and kissing the ring) even if you are exceeding performance bench marks he will either get rid of you or give you the “difficult to work with” label which stays with you throughout your tenure with the company

I really want to hear him go in on Larry Brown and George Karl.....I also wanna hear his real perspective on playing at Carolina. He's one of the few players to appear as if he didn't like his time there.

this is a good interview, and Rashad was a good college player. the career could have went either way… i think these are the new wave of interviews, they have better stories.

Rashad McCants still had plenty of basketball left, hate he didn't get to finish out his career, he would've easily averaged 16-18 ppg, he was an AGGRESSIVE 2 Guard ALWAYS READY FOR A CHALLENGE, HE HAD THAT DOG 😡 IN EM.

Being a hooper from overseas i think that a ton of player here relate to these kind of stories. That’s why any smart player don’t listen to media instead looking to get information from players. There are a lot of things these media outlets don’t tell you cause themselves got relationships to ownership etc. It’s a fucked up game but I love how these former nba players are talking more and more.

Super foul...but how the game goes...people never get to hear how much these positions guys are in is not about talent, but being "allowed" to display their talent. There is a world where Curry is coming off someone's bench or out of the league if he didn't have a coach that believed early.

I always thought what happened to Rashard McCants he was a good player nice size height I thought he was just another guy like his team mate Sean May he just wasn't made for the league not good enuff. Then when he said he avg'd 15 a game I said wait a minute I verified that he did and it was in his contract year there are Hall if Famers that avg'd 13-16 ppg so that's not bad for a kid on his rookie deal and on a team with talent so idk what happened

Gilbert Arenas has a chip on his shoulder for some reason idk what the league did… also he says a lotta off the wall philosophical theoretical sh* t hw said "yeah they dont think a scorer is smart enuff to dial his game down There have literally been many scorers that sacrificed their shots and points for a fellow star DrJ did it for Moses in Philly Larry did it for DJ when he came to Bosotn they won 2 chips and went to four Zeke did it for Joe Dumars AD and Vinnie I could go on Paul Pierce Ray and KG all won chips so he is telling a personal experience and these things are prob the reason he has that chip…
