I just told my mother (she’s 85) a couple days ago, that snakes aren’t slimy. I got my first reptile (I’m 60), a Ball Python, and she thinks I’m nuts because “Ew they’re slimy and want to kill you”. So I took him out of his enclosure and showed her that, not only do they NOT want to kill you but they’re NOT slimy. She finally realizes that snakes are more afraid of us than we are of them. They want nothing to do with us! Beautiful clutch!!🐍❤️🐍

@@giftedbuthumble I’ve never seen a Ball Python act like a rock, They only Ball up when there stressed or in unfamiliar surroundings but out of the 95 Ball Pythons I have only 1 Balls up when I get him out and that because he was a rescue and probably wasn’t treated well by previous keeper, Ball Pythons ain’t boring to no one apart from yourself, There’s LOADS of Ball Python genes out there and more genes being fount by the week which leaves LOADS of room for different mixed morphs which intel makes CRAZY looking snakes with CRAZY colours and pattering’s!!! Were as retic genes are few and far between and almost every morph combo has been made cause there ain’t the new genes to work with and the Morphs that have been made even the super rare ones don’t tend to look crazy, Ball Python and Retic mannerisms seem to be the same to me, Plus retics take SOOO much room to keep which makes breeding and collecting very difficult unless you have a lock up or warehouse on hand, I enjoy interacting with retics in person and even watching a few on KZread but they just don’t give me that same excitement as Ball Pythons do

After the 24 hours he can go in with a razor and slice a small exit hole to help those who may or may not have an under developed egg tooth. That's what all responsible snake breeders do. Not open the egg and pull out a baby snake. It's just not good keeping. He is more interested in morphs than the health of his snakes. 😭 Check out snake discovery, they know what they're talking about.

As long as the animals yoke sack is gone it’s perfectly ok to pull out. Tho you can let the snake come out on his own, hes fine pulling him out. Tho even if with a yoke sack the animal will be fine. Another reason is he may not be able to watch them for hours. Because the zoo closes. So if we put on our thinking caps, it’s easy to understand that in order to prevent death, jay pulls them out or ready to come out. So that non does while zoo is closed.

It's so cute how they keep on sticking their little heads out of the bucket ❤ they are such a adorable creatures. My personal favorites are the ones that are only around 40 to 60 percent white in color. Like, I think you called it a Platinum Pie. Or that other gorgeous snake that only had a pattern on it's sides. That was a very very pretty snake. I never really cared for the genetics and more for the pattern 😅 I could never breed snakes because I would want to keep each and every one of them as they are all so pretty. As well as the restrictions to snake keeping that my country has. You are allowed to keep snakes, but I am no expert in legal matters and would be pretty scared that I accidently break the law 😂 I love watching your videos ❤

You've got some beautiful pythons there, and if that's one clutch it's really something. You mentioned going to San Luis Obispo (in Florida?), maybe you should recheck because SLO is in California.Great vlog Thank you!

Jay maybe you know the answer to why someone like myself as a young child was petrified of snakes no matter the size or kind. To this day if I had to touch one I would probably die from fright. I am watching this video and it really is not easy to do so. I try to watch to make myself not be so scared. It is interesting to see what you pull out. They are all so different.

Would you be willing to define the terms your using? I know you're talking about color markings but it's really confusing when you have (what looks to me) the exact same snake with different "genes" and is somehow defined differently. Also, what do you mean by "world first" when you include only the US? And how do you know? Thank you.
