I've been wearing Baggies since they were introduced. They last forever. Get yourself a pair of Peter Limmer boots for your room. In the 60's they were THE Boot. Period.

Just looked those up! Reminds me of Danner, such a classic look. Great suggestion! Thanks for checking out the vid:)

What’s up Chad! Ok so I did my scouting mission last weekend ( working on the video this week ) Wasn’t a huge fan of Tamarack, so much tree fall and debris right now. So I circled back to Round Valley, site # 10 and found C-7 Swallow way down the path. It was super fresh snow dusted so it was interesting to navigate and I kinda accidentally stumbled onto C-7 Anyways I’m not sure where you were up there but C-7 looks super dope! I’m waiting for a good snow, hit the mountain the day after like on a Friday morning first tram up….I want to test gear in snow so that’s the next step

@@zacmagers yeah those dispersed sites are kind of cool especially being close to the water source. I usually hike up from Marion mountain and pass round valley. In the peak trail there is one last dispersed camping area just before you hit the rocks on the final push up towards the survival cabin and summit. It also has a creek running through it usually. Round valley area might be a good all around spot though. If you don’t take the tram then the best way to it is from Marion mountain campground but it is harder than getting there from the tram.

I see c7 swallow on the map by round valley below tammarack and that does seem like a good spot. I personally have not camped there though. How’s water access?

@ChadWinder89 It’s a super chill spot about 75-100 yards off the trailhead, close to pit toilets if that’s your jam, and there actually is a partly frozen but flowing stream about 200 yards away. It’s pretty perfect and protected by rock, has “ furniture “ and a few large flat spots, clear of deadfall and debris. It’s a really chill spot. I’ll have all that in a video this weekend if I can get it done…. The night I was driving up there it was 28 on the mountain and a thunderstorm / rain so there was several inches of dusting. I’m waiting for a good amount of snow to blow through so I can hit it the next day
