It was 1994, when I was introduced to RD Burman (not in person) by my brother. After that I got into his cabre songs. But, then slowly I got into light songs, semi classical, classical.... till today I am simply in love with this timeless gem. I tell people that RD Burman is like a black hole. Once you get inside, there is no out. I just cannot like anyone else till now. There cannot be another pancham, period...

Like father like son. Both S D and RD were highly talented and creative.

Kishoreda would have sung around 2900 odd songs all languages....filmi+nonfilmi songs and NOT 3950 as mentiioned in the Mini Bio. Lataji would be 6000 odd and not 7000 and Ashaji 11000 plus. That apart it was a well made video Who else but Amit Kumarji would know better of RD Burman than any one in the contemporary world!!

Listen to his songs from amar prem, aandhi , parichay ..you will know no one can create better melodies than RD..but then you can't expect him to give melodious music in movies like sholay , shaan etc still he could do his best and was the only composer to compose good music in action movies too
