Rare Very Original 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS in Tahoe Turquoise
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Visit www.leftcoastclassics.com/ to see this beautiful 1967 Chevy Camaro SS from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California.
This is a special car indeed, perfect for a collector that appreciates low mileage, one-owner preservation classics.
This special one-owner 1967 Camaro RS/SS preservation car has only 54,462 original miles, it has averaged barely over 1,000 miles per year since new!
This Tahoe Turquoise car is a completely original example that has been nicely preserved, never in an accident and even wears all of its original paint!
Purchased brand new by its current owner in Napa, California. Includes Perma-Plate, books, original keys and key fob from the dealer along with the mini-license plates for the keychain and of course the matching, original California issued black and gold plates.
The Car starts runs and drives beautifully with it's factory-smooth running 350ci/295HP L48 and shifts with ease via the Muncie 3-speed manual transmission. The tires were recently replaced and the brakes have been serviced. The suspension feels good and all around handling is sturdy. The interior is all original and still in very good condition and comfortable including headliner, rear shelf, seats, panels, dash, and rugs. The gauges, radio, horn, lighting all work well and the air conditioning blows ice-cold. It's truly a time capsule having all of its original equipment.
This Camaro is nicely equipped with it's all of its original components; matching number 350 engine, 3-Speed Muncie Manual Transmission, non-posi 3:08 rear-end, Rally & Super Sport packages along with front disc brakes. It was built in the Los Angeles (Van Nuys) plant and ordered with Black custom bench, Bench seat (Strato-Back), Tahoe Turquoise Paint with Black Vinyl Top, tinted windshield, fold-down rear seat, air conditioning, three-speed on the floor, rear seat speaker, Rally Sport Equipment, remote mirror.
The exterior is completely original with the exception of the vinyl top which was replaced due to staining. The paint is totally original all-around. The trim, lenses, grill, etc are also all original. The windshield appears to have been replaced. The trunk is sports it's factory spare and mat under which there is no surface rust since the car has spent its life indoors out of the weather.
Take a look here: www.leftcoastclassics.com/196... for the full detailed description and to see the photo gallery of this SS Camaro.

My brother-in-law came home from Vietnam in '67. The first time he came over after getting back home, he pulled up in one of these. His was white with the black top. I was 13. He gave a ride and I'll never forget that car.
I literally was raised in a 67 RS. It was beautiful.
this car looks homely
My favourite model and year. Love the rs ss 67. Love the hide away headlights. I'd prefer a 67 over a 69.

Another keeper. Absolutely fun to drive. Actually...with those low miles it's practically a museum piece at this point.

My sisters GF BF came home from VN and bought a new 68 z-28 he was at work and the girl friend and my sister and myself were out cruising...it was winter and we were going through a s-curve and hit some ice and slid off the road and the rear right quarter panel hit a stump and put a big dent in it...it was not even a week old.
I had a 1968 SS Camaro 396 and a 1969 RS Camaro 350 Both in near perfect and original condition . I was young and should never have sold them. My 68 had no power options and no A/C ... it was set up for drag racing by the original owner . The car was automatic TH-400 . The 69 had all power options. I never liked low rise seats in an old Camaro.
Nice very nice
I bought this Gem last year,,,awesome car,,,wish I could find yet another like it!

I have a sister LOS RS/SS 350cid 4 speed # matching car with factory air and front discs. Cowl tag had Tahoe Turquoise but mine was a body off resto and painted red when I bought it. I’ve never seen one so close to my car. Love it!

Now that's beautiful!!!!!!... very nice.....I always love that bodystil....1967...68...69....to me that's look way better then the new ones.....
I also have a true SS 350 camaro BENCH seat car, there were only a hand full of Super sport camaro's built with a bench seats which is an option.

I've owned an SS350 with a "Strato bench",column shift with tilt, and a fold down back seat.
In 1973 these cars were going for 250$ with 30 or 40 K on the Odometer. The fuel crisis panic was a boom to Ford everyone was now driving a Pinto. I fell in love with the 68 Cougar and it was a terrible car, but it was only 250$ a year later I found a 73 corvette a year old for $2,500 and the four speed was a thrill I had to pry my fingers off the steering wheel every time i got home .When I dumped the clutch it would spin the tires through to third gear adding a holley double pumper would get you in the twelves at the dragstrip!
This car is a piece of art love this car
I bought a 1967 Camaro SS/RS in beautiful condition back in 1970 for $1650.00. That was the going price back then. My car came from the factory with the rear spoiler and console with gauges. I'm surprised that this car doesn't have them.

Spoilers were not original on 67 camaros. It became an option in 68.
I had one of those and mine was an all original convertible with power windows which is even more rare. This was back when I was younger and dumber and didn't realize what I had til it was too late. Im not gonna say what happened to it because you might want to track me down and kick my a$$ .😄
I’ve noticed in these first gen Camaro that no one mentions the fold down back seat option.

Fantastic!!
The 'muncie' linkage would jam in second gear sometimes on my wife and I would have to go get her. It looked like Hurst but was kinda garbage.

wrench and got used to reaching from the drive seat underneath to get it un jammed.
The rarest and the most desirable thing about this car in my opinion is the whitewalls. Rarely these days do people ever put them on this year camaro, despite being an option from the factory.
Very nice.
about to do a Video Series on a all Numbers Matching 1967 Camaro RS 350 , 4 speed ,12 bolt rear end , 2nd owner car with 50,000 miles on it ,
call classic industries and get the chrome air cleaner cover and 350 decal, easy fix, that way will match the chevrolet script valve covers, very nice car
Someone knew what they had even then!
All 67's came with a 3:07:1 gear ratio! And Muncie 3spd??? Plus just watched it again, how did all of that overspray get on that original paint? Sounds fishy...
@WoodedAcres

All '67's came with 3:07 gears? They were standard for some engine combinations, but not all and most/many chose different gears. Yeah, the three speed is called a Saginaw M26 trans.
my dads dream car
Hmm….grew up with a ‘67 SS/RS as our family car, bought in ‘68. Deluxe interior, but black interior windshield trim…should be chrome around the windshield.
I had the exact car but mine was white with a black stripe around the nose I also yanked the engine and put a L88 427 in it, Turbo 400 tranny with 3800 stall converter and 456 rear end gears.
How did over spray get on the top if its original paint?

Would love to know what the car sells for.
Never ever have I seen a RS/SS 350 car that didnt have a tach/console, or that didn't come with a 4spd... and this one came with custom int... nice ride though ... Also what happened to Chevy now tagging the Camaro a SS/RS,,,, not the way they came back in the day... You bought up to get the extras.... then in the end, it was again the RS 1st, then the SS came after the fact and the 350 ci car was a 12 bolt, with console due to the RS package. Not sure why a enthusiast would not order console or 4sp
Why I Say Gourgous Is Impressive !!!! Sounds As All ##s Match...RS / SS..No Posse,...Should Get $$$ Good Luck..Stay Strong...Peace
Is this a true SS? I’ve never heard of a Super Sport with a 3 speed manual. Also missing the tach and the radius bar for the rear axle.
