Rare Titanium Hand-engraved Signet Ring With Custom Coat Of Arms
In this video I demonstrate hand engraving a Titanium signet ring. I had the coat of arms design laser engraved onto the custom ring, to ensure its accurate placement and so the details didn't wipe off.
I used a GRS Tools Gravermach with 901 hand piece and a custom hand made graver to apply the engraving. The ring itself is held in a Jura Tools Basic QC set, with the 20mm flat round top jaws, to hold. it firmly.
I am a big fan of hand engraving and looking forward to doing more of it in the future, most of my time is spend diamond setting, but because a lot of the tooling and hand control is very similar, engraving is a natural progression from diamond setting.

Steve Lindsay has some great tools for work like this but they are pretty expensive, that titanium looks hard to work with, you did agreat job

This is the 901, it has airtact but I use the pedal still, haven’t got the hang of hand control yet
